There will be music in the air; music in the heart, mind and soul, as the Symphony Orchestra of India (SOI) comes up with a performance worth its weight in gold! Added to this will be a powerhouse of talent: Shankar Mahadevan; who will lend his voice to this fabulous evening. They are all set to enthrall music aficionados when they perform live at the Mahalaxmi Race Course on Tuesday evening, January 31, 2012.

Says Vivek Jain, Chairman RWITC, one of the organisers, “The RWITC is making a significant difference to Mumbai’s socio-cultural landscape by its increased focus on events that encompass music and culture, and many with a charitable focus. Says Ashvin Gidwani, “There needs to be perfect synchrony in rhythms, sounds, tunes and timing to make a grand and pleasurable musical experience. Keeping in sync with this endeavour, we have created an ‘experience’ to remember.”
