The Jockey’s Association of India directly informed the Secretary, RWITC, just prior to declarations that they did not want jockeys to be declared to ride for the races on the the 9 th of March, 2023 .
As the case in reference is under appeal and therefore sub judice, RWITC is constrained not to make any further comments on it.

However, talks are on to find an amicable resolution to the matter at the earliest.
Races will now take place,as scheduled,with apprentice jockeys,on the 9 th of March 2023.
