ENTRIES FOR THE POONAWALLA BREEDERS’ MULTI-MILLION (GRADE 1) 2022
All Stud Farm Owners / Breeders are hereby informed that the entries for The Poonawalla Breeders’ Multi-Million (Grade 1) 2022, for horses foaled in 2019, will be accepted ONLY by the Racing Department of the Royal Western India Turf Club, Ltd., Race Course, 6 Arjun Marg, Pune - 411001.
THE ENTRIES FOR THE ABOVE RACE WILL CLOSE AT 5.00 P.M. ON MONDAY, 1st MARCH 2021.
All concerned are hereby informed that the entries must be accompanied by Rs.3,000/- per entry (being the first installment) payable either by Demand Draft / Cheques drawn on a Mumbai or Pune bank in favour of Royal Western India Turf Club, Ltd., or by cash. The second and final installment of Rs.3,500/- will be payable on or before Wednesday, 31th March, 2021.
No entries will be accepted without the entry fee.
Enclosed is a prospectus and entry form for the above-mentioned race.

THE POONAWALLA BREEDERS’ MULTI-MILLION (GRADE 1) 2022
The Poonawalla Stud Farms will contribute Rs.3.7 Million of which Rs.2.5 Million towards stakes and Rs.1.2 Million towards prizes and Trophies. A Sweepstakes of Rs.60,000/- each.
Total Stakes will be distributed as under,

Third 8.25% 1% 0.75%
Fourth 4.125% 0.5% 0.375%

A Trophy value Rs.20,000/- each to the Breeder, Trainer and Jockey of the winner.
Rs.20,000/- to the first groom of the winner.
A Trophy value of Rs.15,000/- each, to the Owner and Trainer of the best turned out runner.
Rs.5,000/- to the groom of the best turned out runner.
Rs.1,000/- each to the groom of all runners.
A Race for Indian Horses, 3 years old only (foaled in 2019)
Weights: Colts and Geldings, 56 kgs; Fillies, 54.5 kgs.
Distance: (About) 1400 Metres.
Entries will close at 5.00 P.M. ON MONDAY, 1ST MARCH 2021.

Entry Rs.6,500/- (Rs.3,000/- to accompany per entry on or before MONDAY, 1ST MARCH, 2021 and Rs.3,500/- per entry to be paid on or before Wednesday, 31st March, 2021), either by Demand Draft/Cheque drawn on a Mumbai or Pune Bank in favour of the Royal Western India Turf Club, Ltd or by cash.
First Forfeit, Rs.13,375/- for horses not struck out by 6th August 2021.
Second Forfeit, Rs.13,375/- for horses not struck out by 1st October 2021.
Third Forfeit, Rs.13,375/- for horses not struck out by 1st January 2022.
Final Forfeit, Rs.13,375/- for horses not struck out on date & time the entries for the day close.
Balloting: If the number of horses accepted for this race exceeds the safety limit applicable to the Mumbai Race Track there shall be a ballot in order to comply with the track limit. The excess number of horses shall be balloted out based on all stakes earned or as per the rule in force.
Note: (HORSES BALLOTED OUT WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND OF THE ENTRY FEE/ FORFEITS)
