No issues with fitness of Star Superior: Narredu
-By Shailendra Awasthi | TOI

Mumbai:
Star Superior, the only horse who has stretched mighty Sir Cecil on a couple of occasions in the past, will certainly be right there to add colour to the finish when the Indian Derby enters its business end at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse on Sunday, claims trainer Rajesh Narredu.

“The racing fraternity heard a few rumours about my ward’s health as we are getting close to the biggest race in the country. But let me make it very clear that nobody should doubt his fitness,” said the 32-year-old.

Narredu has strong reasons to feel so confident. Bengaluru challenger Star Superior has been a winner in six out of 10 starts, while finishing second on four other occasions. Narredu, however, feels apart from Sir Cecil, the Kolkata challenger Adjudicate will be the one to watch out for on Sunday.
