Rumours are gaining momentum that the RWITC Ltd has cancelled several race days and so on.
In order to clarify this, this press release is being issued.
The RWITC Ltd has decided to cancel only one race day I.e. Thursday, 3rd January 2019.
In view of the present financial crisis which the Club is passing through, the Committee of the Club at its meeting held on 30th December 2018 took the following decisions:-
(a) Barring the Mumbai Race Day on 3rd January 2019 which has already been cancelled, not to cancel any further race day and to continue racing throughout the Mumbai Meeting 2018-19.
(b) To pay 75% of the advertised stakes for the races to be held in January 2019.
(c) There will be no reduction in advertised stake money of sweepstake and graded races.
The abovementioned decisions will be reviewed at the end of January 2019.
