What’s on at the Farmers’ Market on Thursday at the Races
The inaugural Farmers’ Market comes to Mahalaxmi on Thursday- the first time a mid week day will have such a significant event on the Lawns.
It is being brought under the Tribe@Turf banner, simply called Organic@Turf. An RWITC brand on FACEBOOK.
Another unique initiative from the RWITC after the hugely successful Symphony on the Lawns, last month.
What can visitors expect?
Organic fruits and vegetables
Organic trade from dry provisions to T-Shirts and crafts
15 farmer stalls, 15 other stalls, 10 café stalls
Music and dance featuring Traveling River Band, Romir and break dancers
Reflexology and rare treats at the Organic Café
In addition, organic gola, candy floss, delicious eatables, music, dance and of course, horse racing! Also, organic grapes for the first time!
A Vedic puja, Agnihotra, will be performed at sunset time, 6.45pm sharp.
