Celebrating Survivors On Race Day in Aid of The Indian Cancer Society: Sunday, January 1
Indian Cancer Society (ICS) have organized a program to celebrate the spirit of survivors on this occasion. The Ugam group of cancer survivors will perform two dances and a live band, led by a cancer survivor, and will be entertaining the gathering in the Members Enclosure. A group of college students will do a flash mob dance.
Bags and other products made by cancer patients at their Rehab Centre will be on sale. Additionally, there will be an ICS Desk where ICS publications will be on display including the registry book, awareness literature, copies of the Indian Journal of Cancer, Cancer Cure Fund and Ugam newsletters. The ICS team will also show cancer awareness videos.
A Mobile Mammography unit will be parked in the members enclosure, to create awareness of the services they provide to the community
You will agree, a good way to start the New Year by supporting a noble cause!
Every donation makes a great difference in the lives of cancer patients; and the need is huge.ICS receive more than 100 applications per month for treatment support.
The support of donors makes it possible for children and young people to reclaim their lives and go on to lead happy and fruitful lives.
We hope that you will support ICS in their commitment to help every underprivileged cancer patient who needs assistance. The RWITC is once again privileged to host a race day and The Race of Hope Trophy, as part of our pledge to associate with good causes.
