Media Partnership between the RWITC Ltd and The Sportsman Media Group
 
The Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC) and the sportsman media group, the international sports rights and marketing agency, have started a long-term media partnership. The agency with core business activity in the acquisition and marketing of media rights along with the marketing and support of sponsoring rights, with headquarters in Munich and offices in Vienna, London, Singapore and Buenos Aires, brings in its expertise to support RWITC on the international media exposure of their races.
 
Mr.Thomas Krohne, owner and CEO of the sportsman media group : “We are pleased to have set up the partnership with Royal Western India Turf Club to promote the long history of Indian horse racing in Mumbai. Horse racing is a fascinating sport and we are proud to support RWITC on this milestone of global coverage. Our aim is to generate for the first time in the RWITC’s history a significant exposure out of India and the popularity of Indian horse racing. RWITC and its official media partner the Sportsman Media Group will begin transmitting from this weekend, Saturday March 12th 2016 all races at Mahalaxmi Race Course and Pune Race Course, internationally. The co-operation has aimed to increase gradually and sustain the popularity of the races from the RWITC.
 
Mr.Vivek Jain, on behalf of the RWITC, as its Media Chief stated “This is a path-breaking agreement and gives us a rare opportunity to showcase our racing internationally. That the commencement of the broadcast comes close on the heels of the Asian Racing Conference is but fitting. We hope the interest in and popularity of racing at our Centre grows worldwide with this new and unique partnership, for the first time in India.”
 
Mr Zavaray Poonawalla, Chairman, RWITC added " this is a red letter day for Indian racing as the international coverage will surely increase the credibility of the sport and the club."
