The marvelous First Season Stallion, Multidimensional sired his first winner in India with Striking. The two-year-old filly won the 1200M November Plate at Bangalore on November 23, 2012. Multidimensionalsoon transformed into a wonder-working Sire whose stupendous progeny, arrived habitually, especially in the Graded and Classic races all over India. Then, on February 17, 2013 Multidimensional wasthe first freshman Sire, to have a Graded race winner in India. Striking (Multidimensional-Dazzling Skill) won the Gr.3 VIF Stud Godolphin Barb Million at Hyderabad on the date as above. Since then, the Great Sire’s progeny have arrived from strength to strength. Striking then went on to win The Calcutta 1000 Guineas (Gr.3) on 23rd Nov.2013 in a time of 1-37.20s. Striking earned stakes of Rs.3,585,900 and although herDamDazzling Skill won only one race her ‘Grand Dam’ Anagram was a Class I filly in Western India who won 3 races. Plus, her ‘Dam’s tail-line’ is a strong one, as it goes down to the likes of Aladancer(USA) who won 9 races, had 10 placings and 10 shows with a Career Earnings of $191,135 incl. 2 races over 8.5f in USA –Linda Vista Handicap (Gr.3) & California Breeders’ Cup Oaks.

Then there was the Starry Eyes (Multidimensional-Pricewise) who  started her career by finishing a neck 2nd to Mariinsky on 20/1/2013 in The 1200M Gool S. Poonawalla Million (Gr.3) on 20/1/2013, but on 10/2/2013 won The 1400 Arpan & Arti Million by 8L. But, then she unluckily lost The 1400M Poonawalla Breeders Multi-Milion (Gr.1) by a mere neck to Murioi on 24/2/2013. However,Starry Eyes then went on to win The Forbes Breeders Juvenile Fillies Championship (Gr.3) on 17th March, 2013 by 7-1/2L in a very good time of 1-36.30s. Subsequently, on 17/11/2013, Starry Eyes won The 1400M Maharaja of Morvi Trophy. However, in the classic season, Starry Eyes finished 3rd to Mariinsky in The Indian 1000 Guineas (Gr.1) on 15/12/2013 but came an excellent 2nd to Alaindair in The McDowell Indian Derby (Gr.1) but thereafter ran a dismal 4th in The Indian Turf Invitation cup (Gr.1) at Hyderabad. Pedigree wise, the ‘Dam’ of Starry Eyes,  Pricewise (Razeen- Gourgandine) won a couple of races but her ‘dam’s tail-line’ is a fairly strong one, as it goes down to the likes of Brilliant Green (FR) who won 2 good races viz.12f Gordon Stakes(Gr.3), Goodwood, GB and 14f JockeyClub Stakes, Newmarket (Gr.2),GB. So, Starry Eyes who will win more graded races,is very well- bred to stay distance trips.

The highly majestic Colt-Alaindair (Multidimensional – God’s Grace) who on 23rd June 2013 superbly won The Colts Championship Stakes (Gr.1) at Bangalore. Subsequently, on 14th July, 2013 Alaindair won The Kingfisher Derby Bangalore Gr.1. Then, he ran 2nd to Murioi in The Indian 2000 Guineas (Gr.1) on 22nd December, 2013 but came back with tremendous vigor to very stylishly win The McDowell Indian Derby Gr.1 on 2nd February, 2014 in the manner of a champion, in a record time of 2-28.05s. Thereafter, on 8th March,2014 he decisively won The Indian Turf Invitation Cup Gr.1 at Hyderabad which showed that he is a Champion Colt and presently the best of Multidimensional’s progeny. Alaindair is the winner of Six races and will win more races as he matures, especially over long distances. And, he will be the one to beat in The Indian St.Leger (Gr.1) which will be run in Pune 2014. Alaindair’s dam God’s Grace (Razeen-Regal Star) did nothing much but his Grand Dam – Regal Star(Common Land-Miss Goolagong (IRE) won 9 races Rs.4,38,602 incl. Calcutta Oaks (Gr.2) and Calcutta 1000 Guineas (Gr.3); dam of: Royal Verse 9 wins Rs.9,24,282 incl. Nilgiris Derby (Gr.1), Nilgiris Colts Trial Stakes (Gr.2), Christmas Cup (Gr.3) & 4th in Mysore Derby (Gr.1), etc. Hence, Alaindair is impeccably bred to stay, which he has majestically shown in his superb victories and he is sure to win more Graded races, in the near future from trips of 1800-3000M.

Another brilliant offspring of Multidimensional was the highly classy filly Amelia who was victorious in her maiden endeavor on 10/3/2013- the 1000M Ranjit V. Bhat Memorial Gold Cup, in Mumbai. In the race, she lay 4th till the bend and accelerated to take over the running from the 200M and went away to win easily by a widening 5-1/2 lengths in a fast time of  58.44 seconds, indicating that she will soon mature into a very good sprinter who will get longer trips as she matures. Thereafter, on 24/3/2013 she finished a good close 2nd to Dancing Prances in the 1200M Forbes India Million. Subsequently Amelia’s 2nd win was in Bangalore on 16/6/2013 where she won The 1600M Fillies Championship Stakes (Gr.1) in a good time of 1-37.50s. And her 3rd win was in Hyderabad on 25/8/2013, where she clinched The 1600M Fillies Championship Stakes (Gr.3). Getting better with each victory, her 4th win was in Mumbai on 1/2/2014 where she won The 1200M Black Dog Trophy in a superb time of 1-10.14s. Amelia’s 5th win was on 9/2/2014 in Mumbai where she stylishly won The 1200M Dr S.C. Jain Sprinters’ Championship (Gr.2) beating the best sprinters in Western India. Then, on 8/3/2014 Amelia was decisively victorious in The Major P.K.Mehra Memorial Super Mile at Hyderabad which was her 6th win which she won in a record time of 1-37.10s. So, the highly classy Amelia showed that she is an extremely versatile filly. Browsing over her prdigree although herdam-Adamile (Razeen-Climbing High) won only 1 race, her Grandame, Snowtop won 3 good races incl. Joe McGrath H.L,IRE and her great grandame-Icing had 4 wins incl. Fillies Mile, Gr.1, Ascot & Leopardstown Stakes, 7f, Gr.3, IRE. So, the 4yo brilliant and versatile filly Amelia who is expeditiously on the upgrade is sure to win many more Graded racesfrom trips of 1200-1600M.

Winged Foot another bright filly by Multidimensional out of Real Excellence, won The Bangalore Oaks (Gr.2) on 4/1/2014, but flopped in her next outing on1/3/2014 in The 3000M Stayers Cup at Hyderabad because she found the trip too strenous. She should win again over slightly shorter trips (1800-2400M). Concisely browsing over her dam’s pedigree, although her dam Real Excellence did nothing much, her ‘Grand dam’ Allaire (Razeen- Fly For Baby) won The 2000 Kingfisher Bangalore Derby (Gr.1) and also won The 2001 Indian Oaks(Gr.1). Hence, Winged Foot is a highly well-bred filly.

Snowdrift (Multidimensional-Snow Tiger)is a very good 4yo bg who is the winner of 3 races including The 1600M Nanoli Stud Calcutta Gold Cup (Gr.2) on14/12/2013 and The Calcutta Derby Stakes on 12/1/2014(Gr.1). Snowdrift has a classy pedigree as his “Grand dam’ Snow won The 1983 Indian 1000 Guineas(Gr.1). Thus, thewell-bred gelding- Snowdrift should win some Graded races of trips between 1600-2400M.

Roses in Bloom isanother good 4yo filly by Multidimensional out of Roses in The Snow. She is the winner of 5 good races including The 2400M Deccan Bookmakers Golconda Derby (Gr.1), Hyderabad on 19/1/2014. Her dam, Roses in The Snow who won 2 races is by the great Razzen out of Cedar Honey, who won 4 races. So, the exquisitely bred and very well-performed Roses in Bloom who possesses good stamina should shortly win a couple of more races over trips of 1800-2400M.

Another fine progeny of Multidimensial is the 4yo filly Artesia out of Trois Etoileswho won 4 races incl. The Calcutta Oaks (Gr.3) on 21/12/2013 and The Calcutta St.Leger (Gr.3) on 9/3/2014. Pedigreewise, Trois Etoiles{Alysheba(USA)-Trefoil(FR)} the dam of Artesia won 3 races in France and Trefoil the Grand dam of Artesia also won 3 races in France 2100 to 2400M incl. Prix Thomas Bryon,Gr.3,1500m,Saint Cloud(FR) and earned stakes of FF 54,700. Hence, the well-bred filly Artesia can win some more graded races over distance trips as she is bred to stay.

The 4-y-old filly Keukenhof on 9/3/2014authoritatively triumphed in the prestigious 2400M C.N.Wadia Gold Cup (Gr.2) in Mumbai. Keukenhof is the winner of 4 good races and has come an excellent 3rd in The Indian Oaks (Gr.1) which amply revealed that she should achieve an encore over a distance trip. Her‘Dam’ Secret Garden(Razeen- Hablitzia) won 2 races and placed; dam of Secret Visit (b f by China Visit), 2 wins and placed incl. 3rd in Calcutta Monsoon Derby (Gr.3). Her Gran damdid not race but was the dam of 10good winners, some of them being-King’s Academy 27wins incl. Calcutta Triple Crown, Star Hopeful, l9 wins incl. Golconda Derby, Gr.1 & Amber Regent 7wins incl. Bangalore Derby,Gr.1.

So, the highly classy progeny of Multidimensional presently continue to dominate Graded races in India and will continue to do so, at least, for the next couple of years.
