RE: PENALTY FOR IMPROVED PERFORMANCE WITHIN A SHORT SPAN OF TIME
The Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on 25th December 2016 have decided that in the absence of any obvious reason like a severe interference or accident or similar incident, a marked improvement in the performance of a horse, within 10 days of its earlier run, will result in a mandatory minimum fine of Rs.10,000/-.
This is not in derogation to any other punishment which may be imposed on a Trainer/ Jockey after due enquiry.
