RACE NO.1 (90) – THE TATTERSALLS MILLION: (ABOUT) 1400 METRES – RUNNERS - 10

 

RENAISSANCE (Neeraj Rawal, dr.8) lost about a length at the start.

 

STARLIGHT DANCER (Bhawani Singh, dr.7) lost about a length at the start.

 

Soon after the start, MAJESTICUS (A. Prakash) shifted in and went across LA DOLCE VITA (App. A. Omkar) who had to be steadied.

 

After the race, at the request of Trainer M. Narredu, an endoscopy was performed on RENAISSANCE and no abnormality was detected.

 

RACE NO.2 (91) – THE KEKI D. MEHTA MEMORIAL MILLION: (ABOUT) 1600 METRES – RUNNERS - 7

 

ABSOLUTE SERENITY (S. Zervan, dr.4) lost about two lengths at the start.

 

After the race, the V.O. reported the following:

 

PUCCINI was trotted and found to be sound.

 

ABSOLUTE SERENITY was trotted and found to be sound but was observed to have broken its lower incisor teeth.

 

After the race, at the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, an endoscopy was performed on PUCCINI and no abnormality was detected.

 

RACE NO.3 (92) – THE RUSI PATEL TROPHY  (GRADE 3): (ABOUT) 1600 METRES – RUNNERS – 5

 

PRIDE’S PRINCE (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.4) was fractious in the stall. As such, Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

Passing the 300 metres, SANTISSIMO (Vivek G.) drifted out and carried PRIDE’S PRINCE (App. Mustakim Alam) outwards. Jockey Vivek G. has been cautioned.

 

In the final stages of the race, PRIDE’S PRINCE (App. Mustakim Alam) shifted in under pressure onto RAVISHING BEAUTY (P. Trevor). App. Musakim Alam has been cautioned.

 

After the race, Jockey P. Trevor (RAVISHING BEAUTY) reported that the saddle used on his mount had slipped soon after the start. This being the first instance of faulty saddling during the current Mumbai Meeting 2025/26, Trainer Prasanna Kumar P. has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

 

After the race, the V.O. reported the following:

 

SANTISSIMO & AFRICAN GOLD were trotted and found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.4 (93) – THE SIR HOMI MEHTA MILLION: (ABOUT) 1200 METRES – RUNNERS - 9

 

G VALENTINO (Dashrath Singh, dr.2) was fractious in the stall. As such, Trainer P. S. Chouhan has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

At the start, BEAST MODE (David Allan, dr.8) jumped and carried INCREDIBLE LUCK (R. N. Darshan, dr.9) outwards, causing the latter to be steadied.

 

Soon after the start, TEMPO (Mukesh Kumar) shifted out and went across RAMBO (T. S. Jodha) causing the latter to check and change course. Jockey Mukesh Kumar has been cautioned.

 

Approaching the 900 metres, RAMBO (T. S. Jodha) was observed to be keen and in an effort to settle shifted out onto TEMPO (Mukesh Kumar) and thereafter leaned in and made contact with G VALENTINO (Dashrath Singh).

 

RACE NO.5 (94) – THACKERS ECLIPSE STAKES OF INDIA  (GRADE 2): (ABOUT) 2000 METRES – RUNNERS - 10

 

EL GRECO (T. S. Jodha, dr.9) lost about three lengths at the start. Trainer P. S. Chouha has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

Passing the 1800 metres, KING KE (C. Umesh) leaned in onto PSYCHIC STAR (Vivek G.) who in turn shifted in thereby tightening REGINA MEMORABILIS (Neeraj Rawal) racing along the rails, causing the latter to check and drop back. Jockeys C. Umesh and Vivek G. have been cautioned.

 

Approaching the 400 metres, PSYCHIC STAR (Vivek G.) leaned in onto MOJITO (N. S. Parmar) who further shifted in thereby carrying GOLDEN THUNDER (David Allan), DREAM ALLIANCE (Mukesh Kumar) and EVALDO (Akshay Kumar) outwards. Jockey Vivek G. has been cautioned.

 

Passing the 300 metres, NAMIRI (A. Prakash) leaned in thereby tightening and inconveniencing THALASSA (App. Mustakim Alam) who had to be checked. After the race on questioning, Jockey A. Prakash stated that his mount weakened and leaned in, despite his efforts.

 

RACE NO.6 (95) – THE RATTONSEY MULTI-MILLION: (ABOUT) 1400 METRES – RUNNERS - 5

 

At the start, STARLIGHT SERENADE (Mukesh Kumar, dr.3) jumped inwards onto ADMIRABLE (Akshay Kumar, dr.2) who further shifted in and carried D’ARTAGNAN (Vivek G., dr.1) inwards. Jockey Mukesh Kumar has been cautioned.

 

Passing the 400 metres, STARLIGHT SERENADE (Mukesh Kumar) shifted in onto ADMIRABLE (Akshay Kumar), causing the latter to be steadied. Jockey Mukesh Kumar has been cautioned.

 

RACE NO.7 (96) – THE VILLOO C. POONAWALLA INDIAN DERBY  (GRADE 1): (ABOUT) 2400 METRES – RUNNERS - 11 

 

PRISTINE GLORY (C. S. Jodha, dr.11) lost about two lengths at the start.

 

At the start, STORMY SEA (Prashant P. Dhebe, dr.5) jumped inwards and made contact with SOVEREIGN KING (Akshay Kumar, dr.4).

 

Soon after the start, KINGS GAMBIT (Yash Narredu) shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing SOVEREIGN KING (Akshay Kumar) carrying the latter to be checked. Jockey Yash Narredu has been cautioned.

 

Soon after the start, ROSARIO (App. Kirtish Bhagat) shifted in onto DREAMER (N. S. Parmar) who further shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing ZACHARIAS (Vivek G.) and KAVYA (David Allan) causing both the horses to be checked. App. Kirtish Bhagat has been cautioned  

 

Passing the 600 metres, SOVEREIGN KING (Akshay Kumar) leaned-in thereby tightening and inconveniencing STORMY SEA (Prashant P. Dhebe) racing along the rails causing the latter to be steadied. Jockey Akshay Kumar has been cautioned.

 

After the race, at the request of Trainer P. Shroff, an endoscopy was performed on ZACHARIAS and found to have EIPH (Gr.2).

 

After the race, the V.O. reported the following:

 

BAYCHIMO was trotted and found to be sound.

 

The Equine Hospital reported that STORMY SEA had right eye injury (sore).

 

RACE NO.8 (97) – THE COROMANDEL GROMOR MILLION POWERED BY COROMANDEL INTERNATIONAL LTD.: (ABOUT) 1200 METRES – RUNNERS - 9

 

SCARAMOUCHE (T. S. Jodha, dr.3) lost about a length at the start.

 

Passing the 900 metres, due to a tightly packed field CELLINI (App. A. Omkar) racing between WESTERN STAR (A. Prakash) and EARTH (David Allan) was tightened for room and had to be steadied.

 

After the race, App. Aditya Waydande (ESPERANZA) reported loss of whip at about 350 metres. This being his first instance during the current Mumbai Meeting 2025/26, no action has been initiated.

 

After the race, the V.O. reported the following:

 

WESTERN STAR was observed to have lost its left fore shoe.

 

BIG BAY was trotted and found to be sound.

 

SCARAMOUCHE was observed to have a gum injury.

 

RACE NO.9 (98) – THE QUEEN'S NECKLACE MILLION: (ABOUT) 1200 METRES – RUNNERS - 11

 

Soon after the start, DESERT CLASSIC (Mukesh Kumar) shifted in sharply and went across AEON FLUX (C. Umesh), thereby carrying WE STILL BELIEVE (B. Nikhil) inwards onto RED MIST (App. Ramswarup). After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation, Jockey Mukesh Kumar has been fined Rs.5,000/-.

 

Soon after the start, RED MIST (App. Ramswarup) leaned-out onto MIRAE (App. S. Siddharth) who further shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing EXHALT (App. Mustakim Alam) causing the latter to check and drop back. App. Ramswarup has been cautioned.

 

Approaching the 400 metres, AEON FLUX (C. Umesh) drifted out thereby carrying GOLDEN HEART (Yash Narredu) outwards. Jokey C. Umesh has been cautioned.

 

After the race, the V.O. reported the following:

 

MIRAE was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by right fore. As such, the mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

The urine and blood samples of the VINCERO (Winner – 1st race), ALEXIOS (Winner – 2nd race), PRIDE’S PRINCE (Winner – 3rd race), AFRICAN GOLD (2nd place - 3rd race) LADY SCARLET (Winner – 4th race), KING KE (Winner – 5th race), THALASSA (2nd place – 5th race), BUCKINGHAM (Winner – 6th race), FYNBOS (Winner – 7th race), SOVEREIGN KING (2nd place – 7th race), KINGS GAMBIT (3rd place – 7th race), SOCIAL BUTTERFLY (Winner – 8th race) & DESERT CLASSIC (Winner – 9th race), and the special samples of PUCCINI (2nd race), BAYCHIMO (7th race) & WESTERN STAR (8th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substances.

 

The urine samples of the NEBULA (6th race) & PRISTINE GLORY (7th race), was collected for detection of prohibited substances.
