RACE DAY REPORTS
RAILS WERE PLACED AT ITS ORIGINAL POSITION FROM 2000 METRES TO 1000 METRES, 2 METRES WIDE AT 800 METRES, 3 METRES WIDE AT 600 METRES. THEREAFTER 4 METRES WIDE UP TO WINNING POST. RAILS WERE PLACED 5 METERS WIDE IN THE CHUTE.
RACE NO.1 (39) – THE ORIENTAL EXPRESS PLATE: (ABOUT) 1200 METRES – RUNNERS - 9
At the start, SORRENTO SECRET (Akshay Kumar, dr.2) jumped outwards onto SWAROVSKI (Bhawani Singh, dr.3) resulting in the latter to bump TALKING POINT (App. N. Bhosale, dr.4).
Passing the 700 metres, SORRENTO SECRET (Akshay Kumar) leaned inwards due to which CASCADE (P. Vinod) racing along the rails was tightened and had to be checked. Jockey Akshay Kumar has been cautioned.
Passing the 100 metres, ATOMIC ANGEL (App. Haridas Gore) shifted out at the same time SWAROVSKI (Bhawani Singh) shifted in resulting in them to jostle.
After the race, App. Haridas Gore (ATOMIC ANGEL) reported that on entering the straight his mount was hanging out, despite his efforts. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
After the race, SHE’S A TEASER was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
RACE NO.2 (40) – THE MYSORE RACE CLUB TROPHY: (ABOUT) 2000 METRES – RUNNERS - 4
RASPUTIN (Antony Raj S., dr.1) lost about a length at the start.
At the start, GOLDEN KINGDOM (P. S. Kaviraj, dr.2) jumped outwards and made contact with MAGNETO (A. Sandesh, dr.3).
After the race, Jockey P. S. Kaviraj (GOLDEN KINGDOM) reported that his mount was hanging out in the straight despite his efforts. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
At the request of the Trainer P. Shroff, endoscopy was performed on JENDAYI at the Equine Hospital and was found to have EIPH (Gr.II).
After the race, JENDAYI was trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.3 (41) – THE PANELSERVICE247 GAMING TROPHY: (ABOUT) 1000 METRES – RUNNERS - 8
The Sr. V.O. reported that MOMENT OF MADNESS did not complete the recommended withdrawal period for DMSO. As such, the mare was struck out at the acceptance stage and Trainer Rehanullah Khan has been fined Rs.5,000/- for the lapse.
The Sr. V.O. reported that COMANECI did not complete the recommended withdrawal period for Tetanus Toxoid Injection. As such, the mare was not permitted to run and Trainer Subhag Singh has been fined Rs.5,000/- for the lapse.
PHANTA (C. S. Jodha, dr.5) took a fly jump at the start.
The Equine Hospital reported that CHARMING STAR had both eye injuries with ulcer (sore).
RACE NO.4 (42) – THE MAGANSINGH P. JODHA TROPHY - DIVISION I: (ABOUT) 1400 METRES –RUNNERS- 9
On the way to the starting gate, TAABIIR (Amyn Merchant) played up and dislodged the rider, as such, the colt was examined at the starting gate by the Club’s Sr. V.O., who certified the colt fit to race.
On arrival at the starting gate, TRILLIONAIRE (App. Mustakim Alam) was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O., who certified the gelding fit to race.
EXOTIC STAR (S. A. Amit, dr. 1) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer S. Waheed has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Passing the 300 metres, EXPEDITE (S. G. Prasad) shifted in under urgings thereby tightening and inconveniencing TRILLIONAIRE (App. Mustakim Alam) along the rails causing the latter to be checked. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey S. G. Prasad has been fined Rs.2,000/-.
Passing the 100 metres, it was observed that CONTINENTAL DRIFT (Santosh G.) shied outwards under the use of whip.
After the race, AMADEO, TAABIIR & TRILLIONAIRE were trotted and found to be sound and EXOTIC STAR was trotted at the stables and found to be sound.
RACE NO.5 (43) – THE DR. S. R. CAPTAIN TROPHY: (ABOUT) 1400 METRES – RUNNERS - 8
At the request of Trainer Nazzak B. Chenoy, ATAASH was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at 08:15 a.m. on 16th August 2024, at the stables and was found to be sore by left fore with swelling on left fore tendon, as such, the mare was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
MISS AMERICAN PIE (N. S. Parmar, dr.4) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer M. K. Jadhav has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
After the race, LONG LEASE, IT’S MY TIME & PRIDE’S ANGEL were trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.6 (44) – THE MAGANSINGH P. JODHA TROPHY - DIVISION II: (ABOUT) 1400 METRES – RUNNERS - 9
On the way to the starting gate, THE SENGOL QUEEN (S. G. Prasad) got loose, as such, the filly was examined at the starting gate by the Club’s Sr. V.O., who certified her fit to race.
EQUILATERAL (Bhawani Singh, dr.1) was reluctant to be stalled thereafter the filly planted in the stall thereby taking no practical part in the race. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
At the start, THE SENGOL QUEEN (S. G. Prasad, dr.6) veered out and had to be steadied.
After the race, DANCING STAR & THE SENGOL QUEEN were trotted and found to be sound.

The urine samples of the winner of the 1st, 3rd & 4th race, viz. WANDERLUST, MIRAE & BASHIR, and the special samples of JENDAYI (2nd race) & AMADEO (4th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substances.
