NOTICE

The Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on Thursday, 22^nd July 2010 have decided to change the norms for the minimum number of entries and acceptors for the remainder of Pune Meeting 2010 as below:

A) Minimum number of entries in race/s, other than sweepstake races:

In races below 1600 metres, other than races for Class I (Horses rated 80 and upwards) and Class II (Horses rated 60 to 86), if there are less than 7 (seven) entries in bonafide separate interests, such race/s shall be declared void.

In races below 1600 metres, for Class I (Horses rated 80 and upwards) and Class II (Horses rated 60 to 86) only, if there are less than 5 (five) entries in bonafide separate interests, such race/s shall be declared void.

In races of 1600 metres and over, in any Class, if there are less than 4 (four) entries in bonafide separate interests, such race/s shall be declared void.

                B) Minimum number of acceptors in race/s, other than sweepstake races:

There shall be a minimum of 7 (seven) acceptors in all races, except in Class I (Horses rated 80 and upwards) and Class II (horses rated 60 to 86) and races that are 1600 metres and over.

In races below 1600 metres in Class I (Horses rated 80 and upwards) and Class II (Horses rated 60 to 86), if the numbers of the acceptors are less than 5 (five), such race/s shall be declared void.

In races of 1600 metres and over, in all Classes, if there are less than 4 (four) acceptors, such race/s shall be declared void.

The stake money for the 4^th place will be paid even if there are four actual runners in races of 1600 metres and over.

Also note the name of THE ANTONIOS TROPHY scheduled for Saturday, 14^th August 2010 has been changed as  :

The Governor’s Gold Trophy - A Trophy value of about Rs.25,000 or in Specie at the option of the Owner. A Sweepstakes of Rs.2,750, with Rs.2,75,000 added from the Fund. Winner, the Trophy and 57% of the total stakes; second, 24% of the total stakes; third, 13% of the total stakes; fourth, 6% of the total stakes.

Class III; A Handicap for Indian Horses rated 40 to 66.

 (About) 1600 Metres.

Entry, Rs. 1,375, to close on date and time on which the entries for the day close.

Forfeit, Rs.1,375,  for horses not struck out at acceptance stage.
