RACE NO.1 (61) - THE G.ESSAJI TROPHY :   (About) 1600 Metres, Runners – 12

 

Trainer Jayantilal K.Gor has been fined Rs.1000/- for failing to produce the registered colours in respect of his charge THRILLER. The Jockey wore the Emergency colours i.e. All Black.

 

Jockey R.Rupesh (TELSTAR) has been fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in before the Red Marker.

 

WESTERN CHALLENGE (App.P.Trevor) lugged in during the race and near 1400 metres, shifted in and went across EYE OF THE STORM (Dashrath Singh) and near 1000 metres, shifted in tightened SECRET MAGIC (N.G.McCullagh) who in turn tightened GAMBA (S.Sunil). Trainer S.K.Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

In the final stages of the race, SECRET MAGIC (N.G.McCullagh) and ARIANE (B.Prakash) shifted out and shifted in respectively and made contact with each other. Both the Jockeys have been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over their respective mounts.

 

After the race, SADDLERS RULE was found to be sound, having an abrasion at the left hind fetlock. WESTERN CHALLENGE was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.2 (62) – THE P.D.BOLTON TROPHY: (About) 1000 Metres, Runners – 6

 

At the start, HIGHLAND BOUNTY (Ishwar Pardesh, dr.6) jumped out awkwardly towards the inside and at the same time SAINT N SINNERS (N.G.McCullagh, dr.5) shifted out and made contact with each other.

 

Jockey Ishwar Pardeshi (HIGHLAND BOUNTY) has been cautioned for shifting in before the Red Marker.

 

RACE NO.3 (63)  – THE ALLAH RAKHKHA GOLD TROPHY (DIV.I) : (About) 1200 Metres - Runners - 9

 

VELOCITA (Dashrath Singh) was reluctant  to be stalled. Trainer Hosidar Daji has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

Jockey A.Imran Khan (ANGELS TERN) has been fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in before the Red Marker and in the process going across STAR FRONTIER (Y.S.Srinath).

 

Jockey R.Hughes (LAKE GENEVA) reported that he was held up for a few strides while negotiating the bend.

ANGELS TERN (A.Imran Khan) lugged-in in the straight. Trainer Karthik G. has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

 

After the race, ANGELS TERN was found to be sound, having wolf tooth on either side of the mouth.

 

RACE NO.4 (64)  – THE CHARON TROPHY :   (About) 1400 Metres, Runners - 15

 

TWITTILLATOR (I.Shaikh) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Robert D’Mellow has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter, at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

FLUENT VICTORY (D.K.Ashish) and TWITTILLATOR (I.Shaikh) were slowly out, losing 2 lengths each at the start.

 

App.M.A.Roushan (EVANGILIST) has been fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in before the Red Marker.

 

Near 1200 metres, STUNNING THUNDER (N.G.McCullagh) shifted in and tightened WINGS OF ANGELS (D.S.Rathore) who in turn went on to SUZY WONG (C.Rajendra) who went on to DOUBLE DELITE (App.P.Trevor) and in the process WINGS OF ANGELS was checked by its rider and lost position and in the process, EVANGILIST (App MA Roushan) who was following was steadied and shifted out due to which SIOOUX CHIEF (R Shelar) was checked. Jockey N.G.McCullagh has been fined Rs.3000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

 

Near 200 metres, FLUENT VICTORY (D.K.Ashish) suddenly shifted in due to SWOOSH (N.S.Parmar) coming on to his mount, and made contact with BORN DESTINY (Vikram Jodha).

 

After the race, SUZY WONG was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind pastern and fetlock. TWITTILLATOR & FLUENT VICTORY were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.5 (65) – THE MULRAJ GOCULDAS TROPHY: (About) 1600 Metres, Runners- 6

 

Jockey A.Imran Khan (MYSTIC QUEST) has been fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in before the Red Marker.

 

In the final stages, MYSTIC QUEST (A.Imran Khan) lugged in, due to which Jockey C.D.Hayes (ANGELO) anticipated the inward movement and changed course outwards to progress in the race. Jockey A.Imran Khan has been cautioned for making insufficient effort on his mount to control the inward movement.

 

After the race, ANGELO & MYSTIC QUEST were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.6 (66)  – THE COLE GOLD TROPHY (DIV.II):  (About) 1000 Metres, Runners - 14

 

BESPOKE (C.Alford) and FALLEN ANGEL (App.A.Sandesh) were reluctant to be stalled. ON MY WAY (S.Zervan) played up in the stall. The gelding was taken out of the stall and examined by the Club’s Sr.V.O. who certified him fit to race. The gelding returned sound after the race.  TUSCAN SUN (Dashrath Singh) planted and took no part in the race. Trainers P.Shroff, Rehanullah Khan, Nina M.Lalvani and S.K.Sunderji have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. 

 

Near 200 metres, ALASKA (Zameer Sayyed) was observed to be in discomfort and shifted out and hampered the running of CROWNED PRINCESS (H.G.Rathod) who was checked. Trainer D.J.Surti has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the mare.

 

After the race, ALASKA & FALLEN ANGEL were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.7 (67) – THE  ET NOW GOLD CUP: (About) 2000 Metres-  Runners - 7

 

After the race, STAR TREASURE  was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.8 (68) – THE KEJRIWAL TROPHY (DIV.I):   (About) 1200 Metres  - Runners - 12

 

Before the start of this race, it was informed that an application for change of equipment on DEAR HENRY was lodged and due to shortage of time the same could not be verified and considering the welfare of the horse, the use of Cross Nose Band was permitted on DEAR HENRY. However, on enquiry the next day, it was found that no application for change of equipment was received as claimed by Trainer S.S.Shah, as such, he has been fined Rs.5,000/- for using an equipment without obtaining prior permission for the same.

 

BEYOND STARS (Suraj Narredu) tried to charge the gate a fraction prior to the start being effected and thereafter fell back on its haunches as the gates opened, resulting in the Jockey getting unbalanced and being dislodged and the filly came out riderless.

 

Jockey S.John (AMBEROGIO) has been fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in before the Red Marker and in the process going across SILVER SANDS (S.Zervan) causing the latter to be checked.

 

After the race, DEAR HENRY was observed to have bruises at the both hind fetlocks. HAMMERHEAD, BEYOND STARS & CATALYST were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.9 (69) – THE COLE GOLD TROPHY (DIV.I): (About) 1000 Metres,  Runners – 15

 

At the start, STERLING SILVER (D.K.Ashish, dr.3) jumped out awkwardly towards the outside and went on to NATIVE LADY ((App.P. Trevor, dr.4) who in turn went on to SHABDEEZ (Amyn Merchant, dr.5) who lost position. Since the incident was accidental, no action has been initiated against anyone.

 

Near 700 metres, CAPTAIN SMART (C.S.Jodha) lost position as the Jockey tried to remain balanced as the saddle had slipped back. Due to this, CLASSIC RULER (R.Biramne) who was following,  shifted out to avoid clipping the heels of CAPTAIN SMART and in the process carried GLORIA (H.G.Rathod) outward who was checked and while doing so, BANANA BOY (Malcolm Kharadi) who was behind GLORIA was checked.

 

Approaching 600 metres, STERLING SILVER (D.K.Ashish) was steadied while racing on the inside of CAPTAIN SMART (C.S.Jodha) who had a saddle slip.

 

The saddle on CAPTAIN SMART (C.S.Jodha) was observed to have slipped back during the race, as such, Trainer Magansingh P.Jodha has been fined Rs.2000/- for faulty saddling of his charge.

 

ASTON MARTIN (N.G.McCullagh) lugged in for a brief period near 300 metres and carried AQUALINA (Y.S.Srinath) inwards. Trainer M.K.Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

Jockey A.M.Tograllu (ANGELS PURSUIT) has been cautioned for shifting ground under the use of the whip in the final stages of the race and inconvenienced GLORIOUS MISS (C Rajendra).

 

An Enquiry has been initiated  into the running and riding of STERLING SILVER and a reported will be submitted shortly.

 

After the race, CAPTAIN SMART was observed to have lost its left hind plate. STERLING SILVER was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.10 (70) – THE ALLAH RAKHKHA GOLD TROPHY (DIV.II):(About) 1200 Metres- Runners – 9

 

ARABICA (C.D.Hayes) was restless in the stall. Trainer P.Shroff has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

At the start, PURPLE MOON (R.Shelar) and RAPIDOH (Paul Mulrennan) jumped out awkwardly.

 

AMARETTO (Dashrath Singh) and VISIONIST (D.K.Ashish) lugged out in the final 200 metres. Trainers C.D. Katrak and S.K.Sunderji have been asked to take remedial measures with their respective charges before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, AMARETTO and ARABICA were found to be sound. AMARETTO was found to have wolf tooth on either side of its mouth.

 

RACE NO.11 (71) – THE CASINO ROYALE INDIAN 2000 GUINEAS (GR.1): (About) 1600 Metres. - Runners – 14

 

Soon on entering the straight, STAR FUTURE (Suraj Narredu) shifted out and jostled with STARRER (Y.S.Srinath). Jockey Suraj Narredu has been fined Rs.5000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

 

Soon on entering the straight, ELOISE (B.Prakash) was severely tightened on to TENDER ROMANCE (C.alford) when STAR WARRIOR (David Allan) shifted out to progress in the race. Jockey David Allan has been fined Rs.3000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

 

Approaching 200 metres, SU CHALIYO (Paul Mulrennan) shifted out to progress and in the process caused STAR WARRIOR (David Allan) to travel wide. Jockey Paul Mulrennan has been cautioned for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu (STAR FUTURE) has been fined Rs.1000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. Further, he was reprimanded for using his whip with excessive frequency.

 

Jockey Neeraj Rawal (MOON STAR) reported that his mount lugged-in in the straight. Trainer C.D.katrak has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

STAR WARRIOR (David Allan) was placed fifth and IMMENSE (S.John) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.

 

RACE NO.12 (72) – THE KEJRIWAL TROPHY (DIV.II): (About) 1200 Metres- Runners - 12

 

At the start, BLAZING SPECTACLE (A.M.Tograllu) tried to drift outwards and while being steadied shifted in and jostled with SAN RAFAEL (R.Shelar) who was unbalanced and lost position and was steadied. Since the incident was accidental, no action was initiated in the matter.

 

Soon after the start, ABSOLUTE REALITY (N.S.Parmar) shifted in and went across FORWARD CHARGE ( Dashrath Singh) causing the latter to be checked. Jockey N.S.Parmar has been fined Rs.1000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.

 

The Australian Nose Band on PRINCE LOCHINVA (H.G.Rathod) snapped during the race. As such, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been fined Rs.1000/- for unserviceable condition of the equipment.

 

Jockey S.K.Jadhav (HIGHLAND VISION)  and Jockey N.S.Parmar (ABSOLUTE REALITY) reported loss of whip near 550 metres from the Winning Post and 50 metres before the winning post respectively.
