RAILS WERE PLACED AT THE ORIGINAL POINT

 

On a request from Trainer Janardhan, permission was granted to Trainer Vinesh to saddle his charges EPHIALTIES, FIBONACCI SEQUENCE & INTELLIGENCE in the 1st, 5th & 7th race respectively, at his (Trainer Janardhan’s) risk and responsibility.

Permission was granted to Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha to saddle the charge of Trainer Magansingh P.Jodha viz. DAZZLE N DAZE in the 6th race, at his (Trainer Magansingh P.Jodha’s) risk and responsibility.

RACE NO.1(169) - THE  ANTIQUITY BLUE CUP: (About) 1600 Metres.  Runners – 10

EPHIALTIES (S. Zervan) and SHINING PATH (A. Ashhad Asbar) stumbled at the start.

 

An enquiry has been  initiated into the poor performance of EPHIALTIES and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

After the race, ORIENTAL ROCKY, SATELLITE, EPHIALTIES and SHINING PATH (examined on 02/02/2015), were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.2(170) - THE WHITE MISCHIEF CUP  (About) 1000 Metres. Runners - 12

 

At the start, SENORITA EVITA (P Trevor) jumped out awkwardly.

 

PEPE SENIOR (P.S. Chouhan) did not get clear run between 300 metres and 150 metres.

 

Jockey P. Trevor (SENORITA EVITA) reported loss of his whip near 200 metres.

 

RAJSAMMAN (Kavraj Singh) leaned out during the race. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to  take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

After the race, HIDDEN ASSET was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, GANGNAM STYLE & RAJSAMMAN (examined on 02/02/2015) were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.3(171) - THE FOUR SEASONS CUP: (About) 1600 Metres. Runners – 10

 

GERONIMO (P.Trevor) was restless in the stall. Trainer S.K.Sunderji has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

RACE NO.4(172) -THE ROYAL CHALLENGE CUP (DIV.II): (About) 1200 Metres.  Runners-19

 

Passing 1000 metres, IN MY LIFE (S Mosin) was tightened for room due to a tightly packed field.

 

GYAHANA (S. Joseph) lugged out throughout race and travelled wide. Trainer D.J. Surti has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

 

An enquiry has been initiated into the poor performance of SNOW KING and a report will be submitted shortly.

After the race, IN MY LIFE was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, GREY MIST was observed to have lost its left fore plate. HOME FACTOR and  BLUE KNIGHT were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.5(173) - THE UNITED SPIRITS CHALLENGE: (About) 1400 Metres.  Runners -14

 

REMEMBER ME (Dashrath Singh) jumped out awkwardly throwing its head, losing about 3 lengths at the start. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu (POLYDENCES, dr.14) and Jockey S. Zervan (YOUR ROYAL MAJESTY, dr.13) have been cautioned for shifting in before the red marker.

 

Jockey Amyn Merchant (BOMBARDIER) reported the loss of his whip after 400 metres.

 

An enquiry has been initiated in to the running and riding of POLYDENCES and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

After the race, POLYDENCES was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.6(174) – THE McDOWELL’S NO.1 PLATINUM TROPHY: (About) 2400 Metres.  Runners -15

 

The saddle on DOUBLE OR QUITS (Neeraj Rawal) was re-adjusted.

 

Soon after the start BETHPAGE (P.S. Chouhan) shifted in and went on to ARGYLE PINK (A. Sandesh) who went on to ROMANTIC BEAUTY (App.S. Joseph).  Jockey P.S. Chouhan has been cautioned.

 

Near 2000 metres DANSE DEBONAIRE (Darren Williams) shifted in and inconvenienced OCEANA (Dashrath Singh).   Jockey Darren Williams has been cautioned.

 

After the race, SAPORELLI and DOUBLE OR QUITS were found to be sore by the right fore leg and left fore leg respectively. Both the horses have to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

 

RACE NO.7(175) - THE B.K.RATTONSEY MEMORIAL MAIDEN MULTI-MILLION:  (About) 1200 Metres. Runners – 12

 

BOLD APPEAL (S.Zervan) was placed fifth and MULTIGLORY (A.Ashhad Asbar) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.

 

RACE NO.8(176) - THE McDOWELL SIGNATURE INDIAN DERBY (GR.1) : (About) 2400 Metres.  Runners -13

 

After the race, TOP COMMANDER was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, SHIVALIK SHOWERS was observed to have a gum injury.

 

SHIVALIK SHOWERS (Neeraj Rawal) was placed fifth and BOLD MAJESTY (David Allan) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.

 

RACE NO.9(177) - THE ROYAL CHALLENGE CUP (DIV.I):(About) 1200 Metres.  Runners -18

 

ANTARTIC (S.G.Prasad) refused to be stalled despite all efforts, as such the filly was withdrawn before coming under the Starters Order.  DIA (App.Santosh G.) was also reluctant to be stalled. Trainers Narendra Lagad and Nazak Chenoy have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

At the start ALETA (P.S.Chouhan, dr.12) jumped awkwardly outward and FAJR (App.Bhawani Singh, dr.15) jumped awkwardly inward, whereby EARL GREY (P.Trevor, dr.13) and NAZARANA (Darren Williams, dr.14) were tightened.

 

After the race, WITHOUT FEAR was found to be sound.

The post race urine sample of the winner of 1st, 3rd, 7th & 8th race, viz. VIXEN, SACRED FIRE, COLOMBIANA & BE SAFE, as also that of TIGER TOPS, QUASAR & AQUAMARINE (8th race), and the special sample of SENORITA EVITA (2nd race), GREY MIST (4th race), POLYDENCES (5th race) and ARGYL PINK (6th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
