RAILS WERE PLACED 2 METRES AWAY FROM ITS ORIGINAL POINT AT 1800 METRES, 4 METRES AWAY AT 1200 METRES, 6 METRES AWAY AT 1000 METRES, 8 METRES AWAY AT 800 METRES, 9 METRES AWAY AT 600 METRES AND THEREAFTER 10 METRES AWAY UP TO THE WINNING POST. RAILS WERE ALSO PLACED 8 METRES WIDE IN THE CHUTE.

RACE NO.1(53) – THE NEONA PLATE : (About) 1800 Metres – 6 Runners
SOLO MISSION (Bhawani Singh) jumped out slow losing about a length at the start.
RACE NO.2(54) – THE DR.K.VASUDEVAN TROPHY : (About) 1400 Metres – 9 Runners
Trainer Mansoor Shah has been fined Rs.5,000/- for failing to declare his charge HELLS BELLS in this race after having accepted with the gelding.
WILSHIRE (S.G.Prasad) was reluctant to reach the starting point. Trainer Vijay Kasbekar has been asked to take remedial measures. Also, the gelding jumped out slow losing about a length at the start.
At the start, PILATUS (Neeraj Rawal, dr.2) jumped outwards and went across DIBABA (S.J.Sunil, dr.3) who was marginally slow to begin.
At the start, ABERLOUR (App.S. A. Amit, dr.4) jumped outwards and at the same time AURODEN (P. Trevor, dr.5) jumped inwards and they made contact.
Soon after the start, THEA’S PET (App. P. S. Kaviraj, dr.7) shifted in and went across ABERLOUR (App.S. A. Amit, dr.4) causing the latter to be checked and drop back. After questioning, App.P.S.Kaviraj has been fined Rs.2,000/-.
After the race, Trainer Altamaash A. Ahmed verbally complained that he is not satisfied with the efforts of App.S. A. Amit on his charge ABERLOUR in this race, as such, an enquiry has been initiated into the same and a report will be submitted shortly.
After the race, ABERLOUR and AURODEN were trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.3(55) – THE GOLDEN EDITION PLATE : (About) 1600 Metres – 8 Runners
MISHKA’S PRIDE (A.Sandesh) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
The Equine Hospital reported that MY PRECIOUS had left eye injury (sore). GOLD MEDALIST had injuries in both eyes (mild without any opacity or ulcer).
After the race, GOLD MEDALIST was trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.4(56) – THE MOHAMMED RASHEED BEG & RAHAT BEG TROPHY (DIV.II) :
(About) 1200 Metres – 7 Runners
The Sr.V.O. reported that RUNNING RIVER (M.A.Roushan) fell on its head in the paddock, as such the gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the gelding from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
The Sr.V.O. reported that WONDER GIRL (Shrikant Kamble) was examined on arrival at the start and found to be stiff / tied up, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under the Starter’s order. The Trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the filly from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
CELLINI (App.S.A.Amit) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Bezan Chenoy has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
At the start, ASHWA ROZARA (App. K. Nazil, dr.5) jumped outwards and went across CELLINI (App.S. A. Amit, dr.6) who was marginally slow to begin.
Approaching the 300 metres, BELGARVIA (P.Trevor) shifted out marginally, due to which RAINBOW TROUT (A.Sandesh) had to be steadied. Jockey P.Trevor has been cautioned.
After the race, App.S. A. Amit (CELLINI) reported that his mount was inclined outwards throughout the race. Trainer Bezan chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
After the race, CELLINI was trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.5(57) – THE PANCHSHIL MILLION : (About) 1200 Metres – 10 Runners
At the start, THOMAS HARDY (Akshay Kumar, dr.3) jumped inwards on to HEADWAY (C.S.Jodha, dr.2).
At the start, DANDI MARCH (A. Sandesh, dr.5) jumped outwards and made contact with PABLO (A. Imran Khan, dr.6), who in turn shifted out and brushed the haunches of LORRAINE (Yash Narredu, dr.7) and dropped back.
Soon after the start, THE CHEETAH (App. K. Nazil, dr.9) shifted out and carried LESREL (P. Trevor, dr.10) outwards. App. K.Nazil has been cautioned.
After the race, Jockey P. Trevor (LESREL) reported that his mount hung-in in the straight. Trainer Vishal Gaikwad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
After the race, Jockey Neeraj Rawal (RUN FORREST RUN) reported that his mount hung-in in the straight. Trainer Sangramsinh N. Joshi has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
The Equine Hospital reported that RUN FORREST RUN had left eye injury (sore).
After the race, KRIEGER, LESREL, THE CHEETAH and RUN FORREST RUN were trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.6(58) – THE MOHAMMED RASHEED BEG & RAHAT BEG TROPHY (DIV.I) :
(About) 1200 Metres – 8 Runners
After being stalled, TOUGH COP (N.S.Parmar) played up and put one of its fore leg in the adjoining stall, as such, the gelding was taken out and withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Due to this, Jockey J. Chinoy, rider of EN SABAH NUR who was in the adjoining stall, got injured and was unable to ride, as such, EN SABAH NUR was also withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Trainer S.S.Shah has been asked to give his charge TOUGH COP more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Soon after the start, COPPER QUEEN (Yash Narredu) shifted out and had to be steadied.
Passing the 1000 metres, MOUNT MORIAH (A.Sandesh) shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing COPPER QUEEN (Yash Narredu) and DREAMS (Prashant P. Dhebe), as a result both the horses had to be steadied. Jockey A.Sandesh has been cautioned.
Approaching the 300 metres, STARRINGO (App.K.Nazil) was held up for room and had to be steadied.
An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of NOBLE HEIR and a report will be submitted shortly.
The Equine Hospital reported that MULTIBAGGER had injuries in both eyes (mild without any opacity or ulcer)
The Sr.V.O. reported that ELUSIVE STAR stopped after passing the winning post. On examination, the filly was found to have broken left shoulder. With the consent of the Trainer, the filly mare was put down on humane grounds.
RACE NO.7(59) – THE WAR COMMAND PLATE : (About) 1400 Metres – 10 Runners
KIPLING (App.P.S.Kaviraj) jumped out slow losing about 5 lengths at the start. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
At the start, THEA O THEA (App. K. Nazil, dr.8) jumped outwards on to CAESAR (Yash Narredu, dr.9).
At the start, DAZZLING EYES (Prashant P.Dhebe, dr.10) jumped outwards and had to be steadied.
It was observed that KIPLING (App.P.S.Kaviraj) was racing with the Jockey’s Helmet chin strap open. On being questioned after the race, App.P.S.Kaviraj admitted that he forgot to engage the chin strap, as such he has been fined Rs.500/- for the lapse on his part.
After the race, THEA O THEA was trotted and found to be sound.

The urine samples of the winner of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th race, viz. SASSY LASS, DADDY’S PRIDE, MAJESTIC WARRIOR and HEADWAY, and the special sample of AURODEN (2nd race) were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
