(About) 1800 Metres. Runners - 6
An Objection was lodged by Jockey Malcolm Kharadi, Rider of OCEAN ADMIRAL, placed 4th by the Judge, against Jockey B.Prakash, Rider of BEAUTIFUL STRANGER, placed 2nd and Jockey Dashrath Singh, Rider of ZILLIONAIRE , placed third. The reason being, approaching the 400 metres, Jockey B.Prakash (BEAUTIFUL STRANGER) and Jockey Dashrath Singh (ZILLIONAIRE) started tightening him for room due to which he had to check his mount and pull him out whereby he lost crucial ground which cost him a certain second place since his horse was full of running when finishing on. After considering the submissions made by the Jockeys concerned, in conjunction with that of the Racing Advisor & Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their judgment, the Stewards decided to over rule the Objection.
AMOURESQUE (P.Kamlesh) was placed fifth and BLUE MELLON (Imran Chisty) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
