RACE NO.1(9) – THE STAR ADMIRAL PLATE : (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 6
At the request of Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha, NEON LIGHT was examined at 1945 hours on 20/11/2013 and was found to be suffering from colic, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the filly from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
NEW STAR (I.Pasha) lost about 3 lengths at the start.
At the start, PRINCE ARIUS (App. Prabhu Naidu) jumped awkwardly outwards.
Jockey Neeraj Rawal (ANCIENT ODYESSY) reported that his mount leaned outwards in the final stages of the race.
Jockey Dashrath Singh (VAILE ROUGE) has been fined Rs 1,000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
After the race, NEW STAR, PRINCE ARIUS, TUSCANIA and ANCIENT ODYESSY were found to be sound.
RACE NO.2(10) – THE RANDOM HARVEST PLATE : (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 6
TICKER TAPE PARADE (R Shelar) drifted outwards while negotiating the bend.
Jockey Neeraj Rawal (AROMATICA) reported that his mount was inclined to lean out in the straight.
After the race, RECKLESS was observed to have an abrasion at both the hind fetlocks. TICKER TAPE PARADE was found to be sound.
RACE NO.3(11) – THE BALLERINA PLATE: (About) 1400 Metres – Runners - 6
At the start, MAUNA KEA (A Sandesh) was steadied as SUMMER ECLIPSE (Dashrath Singh) shifted out and went on to ARGYLE PINK (Shrikant Kamble) Jockey Dashrath Singh has been advised to be more careful.
Jockey Vikram Walkar (ZOOM ZOOM) reported that his whip got entangled in his rein soon on entering the straight which he could free near 300 metres.
RACE NO.4(12)– THE SIR RAHIMTOOLA CHINOY TROPHY : (About) 1600 Metres – Runners - 6
After the race, THE MINISTERIAN was found to be sound.
RACE NO.5(13) – THE WILLOW HERB PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 1000 Metres – Runners - 7
After the second race, Trainer Narendra Lagad reported that WINDSOR got cast in the stables and sustained injuries. The gelding was examined by the Club’s V.O. at 1445 hours and was observed to have sustained injuries on the left hip, left shoulder and withers, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The trainer is required to obtain a fitness certificate for the gelding from the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
ARABIAN GLORY (Altaf Sayyed) was restless in the stall and thereafter took an awkward fly jump losing about 3 lengths at the start. Trainer Altaf Hussain has been asked to give the mare more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
ORIENTAL SAPPHIRE (App.Prasad) planted and took no part in the race. Since the mare had behaved in a similar manner in the past, Trainer Janardhan has been asked to take remedial measures and to show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter in two mock races, before next accepting to race.
After the race, SUN HOT was found to be sound.
RACE NO.6(14) – THE J.V. SHUKLA-ASHWAMITRA TROPHY: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 9
Approaching 800 metres, SUPER SATIN (Dharmendar) became unbalanced while racing behind INDIAN TOUCH (Fr’Co F DaSilva) and on the inside of QUE SERA SERA (Kavraj Singh) due to which the Jockey lost his balance and in the process lost his left stirrup. Since the Jockey lost control over his mount, SUPER SATIN travelled wide while negotiating the bend and was eased up by its rider near 400 metres and then trailed the field.
After the race, INDIAN TOUCH and SUPER SATIN were found to be sound.
RACE NO.7(15) – THE WILLOW HERB PLATE (DIV.I) : (About) 1000 Metres – Runners – 9
Soon after the start, ALECTO (T.S.Jodha) was inconvenienced and steadied while racing on the inside of TRISARA (S.Zervan).
Jockey Neeraj Rawal (COLOURFUL PRINCE) has been fined Rs 3,000/- for shifting in before the Red Marker and going across the field on his inside.
Approaching 800 metres, GANGNAM STYLE (Vikram Walker) was steadied due to which ALECTO (T.S.Jodha) who was following, was steadied.
An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of GANGNAM STYLE and a report will be submitted shortly.
After the race, QUICK FIRE, BE COOL and STAR FIRE BOY were found to be sound.

The post race urine sample of the winner of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th race viz. RECKLESS, MAUNA KEA and MINT APPROACH, were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
