RE : ENQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING OF RACE NO.27 – THE CHAKORI TROPHY RUN ON 23RD JULY, 2010:
The Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on Saturday, 21st August, 2010 considered the evidence obtained by the Stipendiary Stewards in the above enquiry. They interviewed Trainers Dallas Todywalla and Faisal A.Abbas and Jockeys Dashrath Singh, S.Sunil and S.Zervan who was represented by Trainer P.Shroff, and having heard the submissions made and viewing the video recording of the race, the Stewards were not satisfied with explanation tendered by Trainers Dallas Todywalla and Faisal A.Abbas and Jockeys S.Sunil and Dashrath Singh. In that, the manner in which this race was run, led the Stewards to suspect a collusion wherein one Jockey rode in a manner so as to benefit another horse. However, in the absence of concrete evidence, the Stewards decided to give them the benefit of a grave doubt in the subject case and to severely caution them for the future.

RE : ENQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT OF FALL OF JOCKEYS C.RAJENDRA (CANDY FLOSS) & J.PRADEEP (ORION STAR) IN RACE NO.71 – THE SAINT EMILLION PLATE RUN ON 15TH AUGUST, 2010 :
The Stipendiary Stewards reported that nearing 200 metres, CANDY FLOSS (C.Rajendra) had changed course and shifted in and whilst doing so, CANDY FLOSS’ hind quarters touched RIO DEL RAY’s shoulder whereby CANDY FLOSS shied and ducked in and bumped the right hind quarters of WILD IMAGINATION (Dashrath Singh). Due to the above, WILD IMAGINATION came in contact with MACHO UNO (S.Sunil) who was racing on the inside and because of the impact, shifted out and caused interference to CANDY FLOSS who was checked and lost balance, dislodging the rider. ORION STAR (J.Pradeep) who was racing just behind, collided into the fallen horse and also fell. The Stipendiary Stewards felt that ENTICEMENT (C.S.Jodha) who was racing in front, had also shifted out and tightened the field on the outside, however, the fall of horses could not be attributed to him alone and therefore considered this incident as accidental.
The Stewards at their meeting held on Saturday, 21st August, 2010 considered the above report and decided that no action was called for in the matter.
