RACE NO.1(126) – THE LAHINCH PLATE - DIVISION II: (About) 1000 Metres – Runners - 11

Jockey P. Trevor rider of SIM SIM has been fined Rs. 1000/- for weighing out late due to which SIM SIM came late into the Paddock.

It was observed that RED RIOT was sporting with Snaffle Bit for which permission was not obtained. Trainer H J Antia has been fined Rs.1,000/-.

At the start, DIVINE SOUL (M. Ayyar, dr.6) jumped inwards onto MYSTERIOUS GIRL (Akshay, dr.5) at the same time SAFDAR (Shahrukh Khan, dr.9) shifted in thereby forcing COUNT THE WINS (Raghuveer Singh, dr.8) and PRINCESS SNOW (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.7) inwards. At this juncture DIVINE SOUL shifted out and bumped PRINCESS SNOW and COUNT THE WINS thereafter due to the impact DIVINE SOUL shifted in onto MYSTERIOUS GIRL forcing it inwards onto REGAL PRINCE (Akash Agarwal). After questioning Jockey M. Ayyar and not being satisfied with his explanation, his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for one race day i.e. on Sunday, 10^th April 2022, for careless riding (permitted to ride work/mock race) and Jockey Shahrukh Khan has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

Passing the 900 metres, HILMA KLINT (App. A. K. Aniket) shifted in under urging and went onto SUITED ACES (Neeraj Rawal) forcing inwards thereby tightening SIM SIM (P. Trevor) along the rails causing the later to check and drop back. After questioning App. A. K. Aniket and not being satisfied with his explanation, his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for one race day i.e. Sunday, 10^th April 2022, for careless riding (permitted to ride work/mock race).

After the race Jockey Raghuveer Singh rider of COUNT THE WINS reported that his mount lugged-in in the straight. Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, Jockey P. Trevor reported that the saddle on his mount SIM SIM shifted back. As such, he was unable to ride out his mount to complete advantage. Trainer Faisal Abbas has been fined Rs.5,000/- being second offence of faulty saddling of his charge, during the current Mumbai Meeting 2021/22.

After the race, Jockey Akshay rider of MYSTERIOUS GIRL reported that in process of using the whip he accidently hit the whip of Jockey Shahrukh Khan rider of SAFDAR due to close proximity near 400 metres as such both the Jockeys lost their whips.

Approaching the 300 metres, MYSTERIOUS GIRL (Akshay) lugged out and carried SAFDAR (Shahrukh Khan) outwards. Trainer Hosidar Daji has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, SAFDAR was observed to have broken a blood vessel second time during the current Mumbai Meeting 2021/22, and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of eight weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

After the race, COUNT THE WINS was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

RACE NO.2(127) – THE BANGALORE TURF CLUB TROPHY: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 5

Jockey P. Trevor rider of SUNRISE RUBY has been fined Rs. 1000/- for weighing out late due to which SUNRISE RUBY came late into the Paddock.

Passing the 1000 metres, ENDEAVOUR (P. S. Chouhan) shifted in due to which MYSTIC BAY (Suraj Narredu) had to be steadied.

After the race, GAZINO & MYSTICAL BAY were trotted and found to be sound.

RACE NO.3(128) – THE HACHIKO PLATE: (About) 2000 Metres – Runners - 4

After the race, Jockey Antony Raj S. reported in process of settling his mount in the early part of the race the bit on his mount RASPUTIN had slipped to one side.

After the race, SANDMAN was trotted and found to be sound.

RACE NO.4(129) – THE LAHINCH PLATE - DIVISION I: (About) 1000 Metres –Runners- 11

CROWNING JEWEL (Bhawani Singh, dr.4) jumped out slowly losing about 2 lengths at the start.

At the start, RHYTHM OF NATURE (C. S. Jodha, dr.3) jumped inwards onto TURMERIC TOWER (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.2) who was marginally slow to begin.

Approaching the 800 metres, POWER OF NEATH (App. M. S. Deora) shifted in due to which HYPERDIMENSIONAL (D. S. Daman) had to be steadied. App M S Deora has been cautioned.

After the race, RHYTHM OF NATURE had a gum injury.

RACE NO.5(130) – THE FORBES BREEDERS' JUVENILE FILLIES' CHAMPIONSHIP (GRADE 3): (About) 1600 Metres – Runners - 4

At the start, KING’S RANSOM (P. S. Chouhan, dr.4) jumped and veered outwards

After the race, Jockey P. S. Chouhan rider of KING’S RANSOM reported that his mount lugged out in the straight. As such, Trainer P Shroff has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

The Stipendiary Stewards will be looking into running and riding of KING’S RANSOM (P. S. Chouhan) and the report will be submitted shortly.

After the race, FASHION ICON was trotted and found to be sound.

RACE NO.6(131) – THE GULAMHUSEIN ESSAJI TROPHY: (About) 1600 Metres – Runners - 13

SUN GOLD (P. S. Chouhan, dr.2) jumped outward onto TEISPES (App. P. S. Kaviraj, dr.3) who was marginally slow to begin.

Soon after the start, RUE ST HONORE’ (Neeraj Rawal) shifted in onto SONG SONG BLUE (H. Zeeshan) causing the latter to check.

Approaching the 900 metres, RUE ST HONORE’ (Neeraj Rawal) shifted out and carried MAD LOVE (P. Trevor) outwards.

Passing the 250 metres, NEXT STOP THE MOON (App. A. K. Aniket) had weakened due to which MARLBORO MAN (N. B. Kuldeep) racing on its haunches to be steadied.

After the race, App. P. Vinod reported that his mount HELA lugged-in in the straight. Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, HELA & MAD LOVE were trotted and found to be sound.

RACE NO.7(132) – THE SHAPOORJI PALLONJI BREEDERS' JUVENILE COLTS' CHAMPIONSHIP (GRADE 3): (About) 1600 Metres – Runners - 5

Passing the 300 metres, WORDSMITH (P. S. Chouhan) shifted in under the use of whip due to which SADLER’S LEGACY (Yash Narredu) racing on its haunches had to be checked and drop back. Jockey P. S. Chouhan has been fined Rs.5,000/-.

RACE NO.8(133) – THE J. RUSTOMJI SOPARIVALA TROPHY: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 10

At the start, FREEDOM (Antony Raj S., dr.6) jumped inwards onto FLASHING FAMOUS (Bhawani Singh, dr.5) who inturn brushed the haunches of KIRKINES (Neeraj Rawal).

After the race, INISHMORE had a cut injury on left hind fetlock.

RACE NO.9(134) – THE STAR SHINE PLATE: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 12

At the start, BOLD ADVANCE (M. Ayyar, dr.5) jumped inwards onto JUICED (N. S. Parmar, dr.4) who was marginally slow to begin and brushed the haunches of BOLD ADVANCE.

At the start, BLAINE (H. Zeeshan, dr.2) jumped outwards and made contact with SUFIYAH (App. A. Prakash, dr.3).

At the start, DILBAR (App. M. S. Deora, dr.11) shifted in and made contact with WAVERUNNER (App. P. S. Kaviraj, dr.10) under urgings causing the latter to shift inwards onto MURWARA PRINCESS (T. S. Jodha, dr.9) who further shifted onto GHALEB (App. Haridas Gore, dr.8). App. M. S. Deora has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

It was observed that App. P. S. Kaviraj rider of WAVERUNNER in the process of using the whip near 200 metres due to close proximity JUICED shied outwards.

After the race, App. M. S. Deora rider of DILBAR reported the loss of whip near 400 metres. This being his first instance during the current Mumbai Meeting 2021/22, no action has been initiated.

After the race, DILBAR was trotted and found to be sound.
