An objection was lodged by App. A. K. Aniket, the rider of HILMA KLINT (Placed Second) against IMPERMANENCE (C. S. Jodha, placed First). The reason being, approaching the 250 metres IMPERMANENCE shifted out from the railing 2 horses wide and hampered my passage wherein in spite of having reached the tail, App. A. K. Aniket had to check his mount and switch to the inside  due to which App. A. K. Aniket lost a certain race by short head.

After considering the submissions made by App. A. K. Aniket who was accompanied by Trainer Narendra Lagad as also Jockey C. S. Jodha, the Stewards after having heard the Stipendiary Stewards and viewing the reply of the race from all angles and relying on their judgment, decided to over-rule the objection as such the order of placing remained unchanged.

RE : ENQUIRY INTO THE RUNNING AND RIDING OF “SUN GOLD” IN RACE NO.59 – THE SONNY BRAR TROPHY, RUN ON 23rd JANUARY, 2022 :

In connection with the captioned matter the Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on Sunday, 20th February 2022, considered all the submissions made by Apprentice Kirtish Bhagat and Tr. P. Shroff and having viewed the video of the race, the Stewards were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Apprentice Kirtish Bhagat. The Stewards noted that his instructions were to take a good jump, sit in a decent position, and do his best. After the start, he was in a good position but thereafter did not make efforts to maintain his position and gradually dropped back thereby placing his mount at a big disadvantage. However, considering that he is an upcoming Apprentice, the Stewards decided to give him the benefit of the doubt for “unsatisfactory riding” and held him guilty of riding an injudicious race. Therefore, the Stewards decided to fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/-.
