RACE DAY REPORTS

RAILS WERE POSITIONED AT THEIR ORIGNAL POINT

 

On a request from Trainer D. J. Surti, permission was granted to Trainer Vijay Kasbekar to saddle his charge EMERALD FORTUNE in the 1st race & GYAHANA in the 4th race respectively, at his (Trainer D. J. Surti’s) risk and responsibility.

1. THE PROTEUS PLATE  - DIVISION I   (About) 1000 Metres.   Time: 1.30 P.M. Race no: 134

 

STARDOM CALLING(P.Kamlesh dr.2) lost its footing as soon as the start was effected and stumbled.

 

SUNSHINE HEART (App. Akshay Gaikwad dr.6) took a fly jump losing about 2 lengths at the start.

 

Soon after the start GO DOLPHIN GO( App. Bhawani Singh) maintained an erratic course and as a result shifted out on to  EMERALD FORTUNE (Altaf Sayyed).

 

In the straight STARDOM CALLING (P.Kamlesh) kept an erratic course under the use of the whip.

 

The Sr.V.O. reported that GO DOLPHIN GO was observed to be sore from the left hind leg,  having a cut injury on the left hind tendon and the filly was sent to the Equine Hospital by Horse Ambulance for further management. The filly has to be passed fit by the club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, ENGLISH LASS was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race STARDOM CALLING was found to be sound.

 

2. THE MYSORE RACE CLUB TROPHY  (About) 1600 Metres.   Time: 2.00 P.M. Race no: 135

 

At the start REMEMBER ME (Suraj Narredu dr.4) leaned inwards onto RODEO (Dashrath Singh dr.3) Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait has been asked to take remedial measures.

 

Passing the 200 Metres COMMANDER (C. S. Jodha) and REMEMBER ME (Suraj Narredu) were abreast and at this juncture the whips of the jockeys came in contact which led to Jockey C. S. Jodha losing his whip.

 

An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of REMEMBER ME and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

3. THE AMAZING BAY DOUBLE STAKES  (About) 2000 Metres.   Time: 2.30 P.M. Race no: 136

 

SWEEPING STAR(App.Yash Narredu dr.2) lost 3 lengths at the start trainer M.Narredu has been asked to take remedial measures.

 

SHADOWFAX(Suraj Narredu dr.4) jumped and veered out.

 

In the straight SHADOWFAX (Suraj Narredu) kept an erratic course Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to take remedial measures.

 

After the race SHADOWFAX was found to be sound.

 

 

4. THE PROTEUS PLATE  - DIVISION II  (About) 1000 Metres.   Time: 3.00 P.M. Race no: 137

 

Due to a tightly packed field, passing the 800 Metres WONDER STORY (R.Shelar) was tightened for room and dropped back.

 

Approaching 600 metres VICTORY DANCER (P. TREVOR) was tightened for room between BIG BANG (J. Chinoy) and SHINNING FREEDOM (S. S. Baria)

 

App. Shahrukh Khan’s (GYAHANA) reins were observed to have slipped in the last 150 metres. Apprentice has been asked to be more careful in future.

 

The Sr.V.O. reported that  near the 300 Metres SHINNING FREEDOM was  pulled up by the Jockey and was observed to be sore from the right fore leg, the gelding was sent to the Equine Hospital by Horse Ambulance for further management. Subsequently the Equine Hospital reported that SHINNING FREEDOM had broken its right fore fetlock, hence the gelding was euthanized on humane grounds at the consent of trainer C.Rajendra.

 

An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of VICTORY DANCER and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

After the race VICTORY DANCER and BIG BANG were found to be sound.

 

5. THE CARDINAL PLATE  (About) 2000 Metres.   Time: 3.30 P.M. Race no: 138

 

After the race App. Yash Narredu (THE WAY I AM) reported that he was tightened for room soon after the start.

 

Passing the 400 Metres  KAYLA (H. G. Rathod) shifted in and bumped THE WAY I AM (App. Yash Narredu) who in turn went on to REMEMBER THE TIME (Neeraj Rawal). Jockey H. G. Rathod has been fined Rs. 2000/-

 

After the race, App. Bhawani Singh reported that his mount (FLASHING HONOUR) ran green in the straight.

 

After the race, Jockey Neeraj Rawal was questioned with regard to the poor performance of his mount REMEMBER THE TIME. He stated that the use of Blinkers may not have suited the gelding.

 

After the race, Jockey P. Trevor was questioned with regard to the poor performance of his mount WARPATH. He stated that in his opinion this is the horse’s caliber.

 

After the race, Jockey Suraj Narredu was questioned with regard to the poor performance of his mount DANCING PRETTY. He stated that coming into the straight his filly just packed up and he had no further explanation.

 

Jockey Dashrath Singh reported that his mount (HURACAN) hung-out in the straight. Trainer has been asked to take remedial measures.

 

An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of REMEMBER THE TIME, WARPATH & DANCING PRETTY and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

After the race FLASHING HONOUR, REMEMBER THE TIME, WARPATH and DANCING PRETTYwere found to be sound.

 

 

6. THE JAIDEV PLATE  (About) 1000 Metres.   Time: 4.00 P.M. Race no: 139

 

POLISHED CHROME (App.Raghuveer Singh dr.6) jumped out slowly losing about a length at the start.

 

Approaching the 800 Metres VALENTINO (Dashrath Singh) shifted in on to FORTUNE HUNTER (D.S.Daman).

 

App. Raghuveer Singh reported that his mount POLISHED CHROME jumped out slow and hung-out until she came into the straight.

 

Enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of POLISHED CHROME and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

After the race POLISHED CHROME was found to be sound.

 

7. THE TATTERSALLS MILLION (About)1200 Metres.   Time: 4.30 P.M. Race no: 140

 

VELVET AMARI (App. Yash Narredu dr. 5) was observed to have jumped out awkwardly going onto ITSCARO (P. Trevor dr. 4) and BRAHMACHARI (D. K. Ashish dr. 3).

 

Soon after the start AARON’S(Neeraj Rawal dr.7) shifted out and BENEZEER(C.S.Jodha dr.9)shifted in as a result MISTER MAJESTIC(Bhawani Singh dr.8) was tightened for room.

 

About 100 metres after the start BENEZEER (C. S. Jodha) shifted in thereby causing interference to MISTER MAJESTIC (App. Bhawani Singh). Jockey C.S.JODHA has been cautioned.

 

Passing the 1000 Metres SHIVALIK STORY (Kishore Kadam) shifted in sharply thereby tightening CANNONBALL RUN (Dashrath Singh). Jockey Kishore Kadam has been severely cautioned.

 

Approaching the 200 Metres BRAHMACHARI(D.K.Ashish) shifted in tightening SHIVALIK STORY (Kishore Kadam). Jockey D.K.Ashish has been cautioned.

 

On a complaint received from Trainer Nirad Karanjawala an enquiry has been initiated into the riding of BENEZEER and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

After the race BENEZEER was found to be sore on her left fore leg. To be passed fit by the Club’s V. O. before next accepting to race.

 

VELVET AMARI was found to be sound.

 

 

8. THE ENAKSI PLATE  (About) 1600 Metres.   Time: 5.00 P.M. Race no: 141

 

Passing the 600 Metres MAJESTIC LIGHT (Amyn Merchant) weakened and dropped back on to DAISHONIN(Kishore Kadam).

 

Approaching the 400 Metres WAJOOD (App. Raghuveer Singh) shifted out onto  JORELL (App. Yash Narredu) thereafter shifted in and tightened  DAISHONIN (Kishore Kadam). App Raghuveer Singh has been fined Rs. 1000/-

 

Passing the 400 Metres RAIN DANCE (Dashrath Singh) shifted out onto BIRKENHEAD (Neeraj Rawal). Jockey Dashrath Singh has been cautioned.

 

Jockey Kishore Kadam reported that his mount (DAISHONIN) hung-in in the straight.

 

After the race WAJOOD was found to be sound, but having cut injury on its left hind coronet and right hind fetlock. UNCLE CHOICES and MAJESTIC LIGHT were found to be sound.

 

9. THE FLAMING ACE PLATE  (About) 1000 Metres.   Time: 5.30 P.M. Race no: 142

 

Soon after the start TINOGONA (App.R.Ajinkya dr.7) shifted out and made contact with BORN TO WIN (T.S.Jodha).

 

At the start STAR (App. Raghuveer Singh) and PALACE GIRL (App. Yash Narredu) were observed to have jostled with each other.

 

Passing the red marker AINRA (App. Bhawani Singh) was observed to have shifted in tightening ZEDA (App. Vishal).

 

After the race STAR was found to be sound, but having gum injury. ZEDA and TINOGONA were found to be sound.

 

 

 

The post race urine sample of the winners of all races viz. HIROHAMA (1st race), COMMANDER (2nd race), RIGOLETTO (3rd race), JOY OF LIFE (4th race), HURACAN (5th race), MINE FOREVER (6th race), BRAHMACHARI (7th race), MAGNIFICENCE (8th race) and SUNNY SEA (9th race) as also that of STARDOM CALLING(1st race), ENGLISH LASS (1st race) (bleeder) WONDER STORY(4th rcae),FLASHING HONOUR & VITESSE (5th race), DAISHONIN(8TH race) and DREAMS UNLIMITED (9th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance
