RACE DAY REPORTS

 

RAILS WERE PLACED 11 METRES AWAY FROM 1100 METRES PASSING THE WINNING POST. RAILS WERE ALSO PLACED 3 METRES AWAY FROM 1200 METRES (CHUTE) TO 1000 METRES.

 

On a request from Trainer M.Narredu, permission was granted to his Assistant, Mr.Vinesh Naik to saddle his charge JORDANA in the 3rd race, at his (Trainer M.Narredu’s) risk and responsibility.

RACE NO.1(207) – THE SELF STYLED PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 2000 Metres – 8 Runners

 

Passing 600 metres, RED FORT (J.Chinoy) who was racing between SKY LANTERN (R.Shelar) and RESILIENT (App.S.J.Sunil), was tightened for room.

 

After the race, SHOWN was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.2(208) – THE KOJAGIRI PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 1200 Metres – 11 Runners

 

At the start, HORSE POWER (App.Vishal, dr. 5) jumped out awkwardly on to MIRACLE OF LOVE (Akshay, dr. 4).

 

Jockey Dashrath Singh (REALITY, dr.11) has been fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in soon after the start and cutting across the field as a result STROGANOFF (C. S. Jodha, dr.8) was tightened for room.

 

YARDSTICK (S.G.Prasad) was observed hung out continuously after passing the 600 metres and finished the race on the outer rails. Trainer H.J.Antia has been advised to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the mare.

 

In the last 100 metres, VENI VEDI VICI (App.R.Ajinkya) shifted in on to HORSE POWER (App.Vishal) who was steadied.

 

After the race, FLYNN was observed to have a cut injury at the right hind coronet. LEX LUTHOR, YARDSTICK and SILLY DUDE were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.3(209) – THE SELF STYLED PLATE (DIV.I): (About) 2000 Metres – 7 Runners

 

The Sr.V.O. reported that at the request of Trainer C.Rajendra, CAVALIA was examined at the Saddling Enclosure and found to be sore from the right fore leg. As such, the filly was certified unfit to race and hence withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race Jockey P.Trevor (SMOKIE) reported that his mount was not raising a fluent gallop when the filly was crowded hence he had travelled on the outside so as to get the best out of her.

 

After the race, MARQUET, SMOKIE and STALWART were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.4(210) – THE  JONTY RHODES PLATE: (About) 1200 Metres – 6 Runners

 

At the request of Trainer Asad Siddiqui, JIMBO was examined at 1130 hours on 16/10/2015 and was found to be sore from the right fore leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race. 

 

Jockey Neeraj Rawal (STRATEGIC MOVE) reported that his mount hung-in in the straight. Trainer Karthik.G has been advised to take remedial measure before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

After the race, AGELESS was observed to have a cut injury at both hind bulb of heel. HIDDEN ASSET was examined at the stables in the morning on 18/10/2015 and was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.5(211) – THE  E d’AVOINE TROPHY: (About) 1600 Metres – 10 Runners

 

ETERNAL (C.S.Jodha, dr.5) and SENSEX (D.K.Ashish, dr.6) jumped out and made contact with each other.

 

CHAMPAGNE (App.Yash Narredu, dr.9) was observed to shift in before passing the Red Marker thereby tightening ETERNAL (C.S.Jodha, dr.5), who in turn went on to DANCING PRETTY (S.Zervan, dr.4). App.Yash Narredu has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

 

After the race, RAIN DANCE was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind pastern and cannon.

 

 RACE NO.6(212) – THE KOJAGIRI PLATE (DIV.I): (About) 1200 Metres – 10 Runners

 

At the request of Trainer Narendra Lagad, BEAU ROYALE was examined at 0830 hours on 16/10/2015 and was found to be sore from the right hind leg. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race. 

 

At the start, MAGNUM OPUS (Dashrath Singh, dr.5) jumped out awkwardly throwing its head and went on to HIROHAMA (P.S.Chouhan, dr.6).

 

At the start, ELEKTRA KING (T.Atul, dr.9) jumped awkwardly inwards and at the same time CHASE THE ACE (S.Sameer, dr.7) shifted out, due to which PRAELECTOR (Neeraj Rawal, dr.8) was tightened.

 

Soon after the start, MARCUS AURELIUS (C.S.Jodha, dr.11) shifted in and made contact with ELEKTRA KING (T.Atul, dr.9).

 

Jockey T.Atul (ELEKTRA KING) reported that his mount hung out throughout the race Trainer H. J. Antia has been advised to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

Jockey P.S.Chouhan (HIROHAMA) reported that he felt his mount was uncomfortable in the final stages of the race. The Sr.V.O. was requested to examine the filly and he reported that the filly was found to be sound, but having an abrasion at the right hind pastern

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu (KALEIDOSCOPE) reported that his mount was running green and passing the 600 metres marker, the filly dropped back.

 

The Stipendiary Stewards will be looking into the running and riding of KALEIDOSCOPE (Suraj Narredu) and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

The Sr.V.O. reported that KALEIDOSCOPE was examined at the Saddling Enclosure after the race and found to be sound. Later, the filly was scoped at the Equine Hospital and reported to be normal. The filly was again examined at the stables in the morning on 18th October, 2015 at the Trainer’s request and found to have suffered kickback sand injury to the right eye.

 

RACE NO.7(213) – THE YOGENDER SINGH TROPHY: (About) 1400 Metres – 11 Runners

 

JORDEN PRINCE (S.S.Baria) lost about 5 lengths at the start. Trainer C.Rajendra has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

Approaching 400 metres, HYPOTHESIS (Neeraj Rawal) shifted out and went on to BUBBLY BELLINI (Suraj Narredu).

 

Approaching 200 metres, BUBBLY BELLINI (Suraj Narredu) shifted in on to HYPOTHESIS (Neeraj Rawal).

 

RACE NO.8(214) – THE SURESH MAHINDRA TROPHY: (About) 3200 Metres – 5 Runners – NO REPORT

The post race urine sample of the winners of all races viz. STRIKING STORY (1st race), STROGANOFF (2nd race), DAZZLE N DAZE (3rd race), AGELESS (4th race), NIFTY (5th race), MAGNUM OPUS (6th race), MAKE WAY FOR ME (7th race) and HIGHLANDER (8th race)  were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
