Two objections were lodged in this race. The first objection was lodged by Jockey David Allan, rider of ANCIENT WONDER (placed third) against BESPOKE (Neeraj Rawal, placed 2nd). The reason being, BESPOKE (Neeraj Rawal) shifted-in in the last 150 metres and pushed BEAUTIFUL STRANGER (Imran Chisty) on to his horse whereby his horse hit the rails and was unbalanced, which cost him the 2nd place. The second objection was lodged by Jockey Imran Chisty, rider of BEAUTIFUL STRANGER (placed fourth) against BESPOKE (Neeraj Rawal, placed 2nd). The reason being, in the last 150 metres, BESPOKE (Neeraj Rawal) kept coming in, pushing him in and bumping his horse whereby he was totally unbalanced, which cost him a higher place.
After considering the submissions made by the Jockeys concerned, in conjunction with that of the Stipendiary Stewards and relying on their judgment, the Stewards decided to over-rule the objection.
In the above connection, Jockey Neeraj Rawal was asked to meet the Stewards for careless riding. Consideration of the matter was deferred to Thursday, 16th February, 2012.
BEAUTIFUL STRANGER (Imran Chisty) luged-in in the final stages of the race. Since the gelding had returned sore by the left for leg, no action was initiated. The horse has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

Since the incident was accidental, no action has been initiated against anyone.
