RAILS WERE PLACED AT ITS ORIGINAL POINT FROM 1200 METRES UPTO THE WINNING POST.  FOR THE RACES STARTING FROM THE BACK STRETCH, RAILS WERE PLACED 4 METRES AWAY FROM THE ORIGINAL POINT FROM 2200 METRES UPTO 1200 METRES AND AT ITS ORIGINAL POINT AT 1000 METRES.

RACE NO.1 (108) – THE SPEARHEAD PLATE: (About) 2000 Metres – 12 Runners

 

RAJASTHAN ROYALTY (App. S. A. Amit) and GATSBY (App. Parbat Singh) were observed to have trailed the field. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to ensure that both the horses run with the field next time.

 

After the race, UNICO CORAZON, RAJASTHAN ROYALTY and GATSBY were trotted and found to be sound. RAJASTHAN ROYALTY had an abrasion at the left fore coronet.

 

RACE NO.2 (109) – THE RADICAL FORCE PLATE: (About) 1000 Metres – 7 Runners

 

SHIVALIK SHINE (Neeraj Rawal) lost about a length at the start.

 

At the start, GOLDEN BELLE (App. Vishal N. Bunde, dr. 4) jumped outwards on to VISTANA (Santosh G. dr.5), who in turn went on to HARVEY (P. Trevor, dr. 6).

 

At the start, SHIVALIK SHINE (Neeraj Rawal, dr.3) jumped out awkwardly brushing the gates.

 

Passing 300 metres, VISTANA (Santosh G.) shifted in on to GOLDEN BELLE (App. Vishal N. Bunde). On questioning, Jockey Santosh G. stated that his mount hung in. Trainer Bezan Chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the mare.

 

Approaching 200 metres, NIOBRARA (C. S. Jodha) shifted in thereby tightening GOLDEN BELLE (App. Vishal N. Bunde) along the rails. Jockey C. S. Jodha has been cautioned.

 

After the race, Jockey P. Trevor (HARVEY) reported that his mount hung-in in the straight. Trainer S. K. Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

After the race, SHIVALIK SHINE, VISTANA and RIDER ON THE STORM (examined on 12/09/2016) were trotted and found to be sound. VISTANA had a cut injury at the right fore cannon.

 

RACE NO.3(110)  – THE HAWKE BAY PLATE: (About) 1600 Metres – 8 Runners

 

At the start, MULTIGLORY (App. S. A. Amit, dr. 6) jumped outwards and took the ground of SMART N NOBLE (Bhawani Singh, dr.7). Thereafter, MULTIGLORY further shifted out on to SET TO FLY (App. D. R. Shubham, dr. 8) who had to be steadied.

 

At the start, SAWGRASS (Neeraj Rawal, dr. 4) jumped outwards on to MAGNOLIA (P. Trevor, dr.5).

 

Passing 300 metres, MAGNOLIA (P. Trevor) shifted in thereby tightening SUMAAQ (G. Amit) along the rails. Jockey P. Trevor has been cautioned.

 

After the race, SET TO FLY, MAGNOLIA and SMART N NOBLE were trotted and found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.4 (111) – THE YOGENDER SINGH TROPHY: (About) 1400 Metres – 14 Runners

 

At the start, CELESTIAL LIGHT (Dashrath Singh, dr.2) jumped inwards thereby tightening BULLDOZER (S. Sunil, dr.1) along the rails.

 

At the start, SLAM DUNK (Hanumant Singh, dr.12) jumped inwards inconveniencing GODSENT (Bhawani Singh, dr.11).

 

At the start IMPERIAL PRINCESS (Akshay Gaikwad, dr. 13) and PUGNACIOUS (J. Chinoy, dr. 14) were observed to have jostled.

 

Passing 1100 meters, KING OF KILLEN (S. Zervan) shifted in on to AEOLUS MAXIMUS (App. S. A. Amit) who had to be checked.

 

Passing 900 metres, PUGNACIOUS (J. Chinoy) shifted in onto AEOLUS MAXIMUS (App. S. A. Amit) who had to be steadied.

 

Passing 700 metres, BELIEVER (C. S. Jodha) shifted out on to AEOLUS MAXIMUS (App. S. A. Amit), who in turn shifted out thereby inconveniencing MIKAYLA (P. Trevor) who was racing on his haunches. Jockey C. S. Jodha has been cautioned.

 

Passing 400 metres, GODSENT (Bhawani Singh) shifted in thereby tightening SCARLET PRINCE (Neeraj Rawal) and WINDS OF CHANGE (Vikram Jodha).

 

Passing 400 metres, SHOW BIZ (Zameer Sayyed) weakened and dropped back on to WINDS OF CHANGE (Vikram Jodha) and BULLDOZER (S. Sunil) forcing the latter to be checked.

 

Passing 400 Metres MIKAYLA (P. Trevor) shifted in thereby inconveniencing AEOLUS MAXIMUS (App. S. A. Amit). Jockey P. Trevor has been cautioned.

 

Passing 300 metres, JOLFA (N. S. Parmar) leaned inwards on to BELIEVER (C. S. Jodha).

 

After the race, Jockey S. Zervan (KING OF KILLEN) reported that his mount was running green and in his opinion this was due to the Blinkers and hence he had advised the Trainer to remove the same.

 

After the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar (JOLFA) reported that his mount was running green.

 

The Sr. V.O. reported that BELIEVER was examined in trot at the stables in the morning on 12/09/2016 and found to be sore by the left fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, PUGNACIOUS was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind pastern and SHOW BIZ had a cut injury at the left fore cannon. MIKAYLA and JOLFA were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.5(112)  – THE IDAR GOLD TROPHY (GR.3): (About) 2400 Metres – 5 Runners

 

At the start, B FIFTY TWO (Suraj Narredu, dr.2) jumped inwards on to COMMODORE (S. Zervan, dr.1) and THE UNICORN (N. S. Parmar, dr. 4) jumped outwards on to  AZZURRO (P. Trevor, dr. 5).

 

After the race, COMMODORE was trotted and found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.6(113)  – THE SOUND FACTOR STAKES: (About) 1400 Metres – 13 Runners

 

MATHAIYUS (P. Trevor) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

At the start, ESPRESSO (Suraj Narredu, dr. 4) was slowly off, losing about a length.

 

At the start, CAIELIN (Dashrath Singh, dr.11) jumped inwards on to DOUBLE NINE (J. Chinoy, dr.10).

 

At the start, SOVEREIGNSKY (S. Zervan, dr. 5) and BENEFICIAL (Satish Nayak, dr,. 6) were observed to have jostled.

 

Soon after the start, DARK GOLD (D. S. Daman) shifted in on to TCHIBOUELA (S. Sunil) who had to be checked.

Jockey D. S. Daman has been fined Rs. 2,000/- for the same.

 

Passing 1200 metres, due to a tightly packed field, GREY FLANNEL (N. S. Parmar), who was racing alongside MATHAIYUS (P. Trevor) had to check and drop back.

 

Approaching 600 metres, DARK GOLD (D. S. Daman) shifted in on to FIREBOLT (Neeraj Rawal), who in turn went on to BROTHERSOFTHEWIND (Jorawar Singh) who had to be checked. On questioning, Jockey D. S. Daman stated that his mount hung in throughout the race. Trainer S. K. Sunderji has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

Passing 500 metres, CAIELIN (Dashrath Singh) shifted out thereby inconveniencing TCHIBOUELA (S. Sunil).

 

After the race, Jockey S. Zervan (SOVEREIGNSKY) reported that his mount was running erratic. Trainer M. Narredu has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

Jockey Suraj Narredu (ESPRESSO) reported the loss of whip at about 300 metres. On questioning, the Jockey said that his whip got entangled with his reins and fell.

 

After the race, BROTHERSOFTHEWIND, SOVEREIGNSKY, TCHIBOUELA, GREY FLANNEL and DARK GOLD (examined on 12/09/2016) were trotted and found to be sound. DARK GOLD had a cut injury at the right hock, SOVEREIGNSKY had an injury at the left nostril and TCHIBOUELA had a cut injury at the right hock.

 

RACE NO.7(114) – THE PREMIER COLLECTION PLATE: (About) 1200 Metres – 11 Runners

 

IRIDESCENCE (Bhawani Singh) took an awkward fly jump thereby losing considerable ground at the start. Trainer Karthik G. has been asked to give the mare more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of SQUASH and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

The Sr. V.O. reported that IRIDESCENCE hit the head against the starting gate and after the race it was noticed that the mare had an injury in the right nostril.

 

After the race, MAGICAL DANCER was observed to have an abrasion at the left hind pastern and HUNT FOR HEADS had lost its left fore plate. SQUASH (examined on 12/09/2016) was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.8(115) – THE  GLENSANDA PLATE: (About) 1000 Metres – 17 Runners

 

FORWARD THRUST (S. Zervan) jumped out slow, losing about 2 lengths at the start.

 

At the start, ELSA (C. S. Jodha, dr.13) jumped outwards and bumped HUNTING PLEASURE (R. Shelar, dr.14), who in turn went on to SARAH (N. S. Parmar, dr.15).

 

Soon after the start, App. H. Zeeshan (DRAGON OF WAR) shifted out under urgings and went on to MARCUS AURELIUS ( G. Amit) forcing the latter to be checked. App. H. Zeeshan has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

 

Approaching the 300 metres, ALPINE EXPRESS (App. Jorawar Singh) was observed to have hung out. Trainer Vinesh has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

 

An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of ARCTIC WHIZZ and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

After the race, FLAMBOYANT FLAME and ALPINE EXPRESS were trotted and found to be sound.

STRIKING STORY (1st race), HARVEY (2nd race), SILVER BEAUTY (3rd race), PUGNACIOUS (4th race), AZZURRO (5th race), MOUNT MCKINLEY (6th race), SHIELD OF ACHILLES (7th race) and MARCUS AURELIUS (8th race), as also that of THE UNICORN & B FIFTY TWO (5th race), and the special sample of MIKAYLA (4th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance.

The Sr. V.O. reported that after the mock race held on 11th September, 2016 ADRENO was found to be sore by the right hind leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
