The Stewards after having thoroughly enquired into the matter and having applied their minds to the entire facts and circumstances of the case and to all papers, proceedings, reports, records and submissions made in the matter and also having permitted Mr.Jayantilal K.Gor to make submissions in the subject matter, found that he had no mitigating circumstances to offer in respect of positive report of PLAYER (Winner) in Race No.196 run on 6th October, 2013 as also the positive report of the random sample of urine taken from PLAYER on 19th October, 2013 and as such, held him guilty of breach of the Medication Rules, consequently he became vicariously liable.
The Stewards noted that the positive report of PLAYER (Winner) in Race No.196 was his second infringement of the Medication Rules, the earlier one being that of RODRIGO on 25/03/2010.
The Stewards noted that vide his letter dated 20th December, 2013 Trainer Jayantilal K.Gor had surrendered his Trainer’s license with effect from 1st January, 2014.

The Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on 9th February, 2014 after having thoroughly enquired into the matter and having applied their minds to the entire facts and circumstances of the case and to all papers, proceedings, reports and records and submissions made in the matter, were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Mr.Kevin J.Manuel and held him guilty of fraudulent / improper practice and dishonorable action in connection with racing. The Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on Sunday, 9th February, 2014 interviewed Mr.Manish Pashamallu (R/o 54/10, Shantinagar, Jagtap Chowk, Wanowrie, Pune) in the above connection.
The Stewards of the Club, after having thoroughly enquired into the matter and having applied their minds to the entire facts and circumstances of the case and to all papers, proceedings, reports and records and submissions made in the matter and also having permitted Mr.Manish Pashamallu to make submissions in the subject matter, were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by him. The Stewards held the view that Mr.Manish Pashamallu would not have taken active interest in the management and training of PLAYER unless he too had a benami share in the said horse and held him guilty of fraudulent/improper practice and dishonorable action in connection with racing. Therefore, the Stewards of the Club, under the applicable Rules of Racing of the Club have decided not to admit him from 10th February, 2014 to 9th February, 2019 to the premises of the racecourse, Mumbai/Pune and all other places wherever the Rules of Racing of this Club are in force.
