RACE DAY REPORT

RAILS WERE PLACED AT THEIR ORIGINAL POINT FROM 1400 METRES (MILE CHUTE) LEADING TO 2 METRES AWAY AT 1200 METRES AND 4 METRES AWAY UP TO THE WINNING POST.

FOR THE RACES STARTING FROM THE BACK STRETCH, RAILS WERE PLACED FROM THEIR ORIGINAL POINT FROM 1400 METRES LEADING TO 2 METRES AWAY AT 1200 METRES AND 4 METRES AWAY AT 1000 METRES

On a request from Trainer J. E. Mckeown, permission was granted to Trainer Subhag Singh to saddle his charge MIGHTY HERO in the 3^rd race, at his own (Trainer J. E. Mckeown’s) risk and responsibility.

On a request from Trainer Dr. Anil Kumar permission was granted to Trainer Hosidar Daji to saddle his charge LIBAN in the 4^th race, at his own (Trainer Dr. Anil Kumar’s) risk and responsibility.

RACE NO.1 (137) – THE AZIZ H. AHMEDBHOY TROPHY: (ABOUT) 2400 METRES – RUNNERS - 4

Trainer Karthik Ganapathy has been fined Rs 3,000/- for putting in a late declaration for his charge PRISTINE GLORY.

At the start, DIEGO GARCIA (Yash Narredu, dr. 2) jumped outwards and went across PRISTINE GLORY (Neeraj Rawal, dr. 3) who was marginally slow to begin.

Passing the 2000 metres, DIEGO GARCIA (Yash Narredu) shifted in and went across FLAMING LAMBORGINI (S. Mosin) causing the latter to check and change course. Jockey Yash Narredu has been cautioned.

After the Race, the Sr. V.O. reported the following:

FLAMING LAMBORGINI, DIEGO GARCIA & PRISTINE GLORY were trotted and found to be sound.

RACE NO.2 (138) – THE EUPHEMIA PLATE: (ABOUT) 1200 METRES – RUNNERS - 8

STORM MAJESTY (Antony Raj S., dr.8) refused to be stalled despite substantial efforts. As such, the gelding was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. As such, Trainer Aman Altaf Hussain has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race. After the Race, Trainer Aman Altaf Hussain along with the Owners of STORM MAJESTY lodged a complaint to the Stipendiary Stewards against the Starters for withdrawing their charge in the race, the same is being looked into and a report will be submitted shortly.

RAINBOW CONNECTION (S. Zervan, dr.5) lost about a length at the start.

Approaching the 200 metres, MINARI (Neeraj Rawal) shifted in and went across AVANTE (Vivek G.). Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been cautioned.

In the final stages of the race, PALOMA (Yash Narredu) racing between MINARI (Neeraj Rawal) and ADMIRABLE (Akshay Kumar) was observed to be tightened for room and had to be steadied.

After the Race, the Jockeys reported the following:

Yash Narredu (PALOMA) reported that his mount hung-in in the straight, despite his efforts. As such, Trainer M. Narredu has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

Haridas Gore (ROMANOS) reported that his mount was running green throughout the race. This being the first run of the gelding, no action has been initiated.

RACE NO.3 (139) – THE OSMAN CHOTANI PLATE: (ABOUT) 1800 METRES – RUNNERS - 13

BEAT THE HEAT (K. Nazil, dr.9) was reluctant to be stalled. As such, Trainer Nirad Karanjawala has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to Race.

EXOTIC STAR (B. Nikhil, dr.12) was reluctant to be stalled. As such, Trainer S. Waheed has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter in two mock races, before next accepting to race.

TROPICAL PARADISE (N. S. Parmar, dr.1) was reluctant to be stalled. As such, Trainer M. K. Jadhav has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

MADISON (App. Bharat Singh, dr.4) lost about two lengths at the start.

At the start, HIGHGROUND (A. S. Peter, dr.11) jumped inwards and made contact with MA CHERIE (Neeraj Rawal, dr.10). causing the latter to be steadied.

Approaching the 200 metres, MIGHTY HERO (Yash Narredu) shifted in and went across BEAT THE HEAT (K. Nazil) causing the latter to be steadied. Jockey Yash Narredu has been cautioned.

After the race, the Jockey’s reported the following:

N. S. Parmar (TROPICAL PARADISE) was inclined outwards in the straight, despite his efforts. As such, Trainer M. K. Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

HIGHGROUND (A. S. Peter) was observed to have trailed the field, the mare was subjected to veterinary examination and found to be sound. As such, Trainer Sangramsinh N. Joshi has been asked to ensure that his charge puts up a reasonable performance in the future.

After the Race, the Sr. V.O. reported the following:

VIKING was trotted and found to be sound.

RACE NO.4 (140) – THE RADHA SIGTIA TROPHY: (ABOUT) 1000 METRES – RUNNERS - 5

Soon after the start, YOUR UNFORGETTABLE (Yash Narredu) leaned in onto LIBAN (Vivek G.) who further shifted in thereby tightening CELLINI (App. A. Omkar) racing along the rails. Jockey Yash Narredu has been cautioned.

After the Race, the Sr. V.O. reported the following:

STORM CLOUD was observed to have a gum injury.

RACE NO.5 (141) – THE INDIAN NAVY TROPHY: (ABOUT) 1400 METRES – RUNNERS - 12

The Sr. V.O. reported that ASKARI had been treated with shockwave therapy in the last 5 days, as such the gelding was not permitted to run. Trainer Altamaash A. Ahmed has been fined Rs.10,000/- for contravention of the Calendar Notification regarding the treatment of horses with Corporeal Shock Wave Therapy (or) Radial Pulse.

On arrival at the starting gate, App. Bharat Singh (MAI TAI) was observed to have sported the incorrect color cap on his mount, the same was brought to the attention of the Starter and the cap was changed to its original color. After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation App Bharat Singh has been fined Rs.2,000/- for the lapse.

UNDERCOVER (Yash Narredu, dr.5) jumped out awkwardly at the start.

Soon after the start, GOLD BAR (Shrikant Kamble) and AMERICAN EAGLE (App. Aditya Waydande) were observed to have jostled on more than one occasion. Jockey Shrikant Kamble and App. Aditya Waydande has been fined Rs.1,000/- each.

Approaching the 1300 metres, MANWAR (Askshay Kumar) shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing ABHYANKAR (A. S. Peter) racing on its haunches causing the latter to check and change course thereby carrying UNDERCOVER (Yash Narredu) outwards. After questioning and not being satisfied with the explanation, Jockey Akshay Kumar has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

From the 400 metres, APPALACHIAN (App. A. Omkar) was observed to have drifted out under pressure and thereby carried ABHYANKAR (A. S. Peter) and SEMURG (T. S. Jodha) outwards. After the race, App. A. Omkar reported that his mount was inclined outwards in the straight, despite his efforts. As such, Trainer Nazzak B. Chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, the Sr. VO reported the following:

UNDERCOVER, ABHYANKAR & ARLINGTON HEIGHTS were trotted and found to be sound.

MAI TAI was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. As such, the filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

RACE NO.6 (142) – THE 1805 TROPHY: (ABOUT) 1000 METRES – RUNNERS - 14

At the start, RISE ALL STARS (S. G. Prasad, dr.2) jumped outwards thereby forcing AEON FLUX (App. Bharat Singh, dr.3) outwards who brushed the haunches of WE STILL BELIEVE (B. Nikhil) causing the latter to be steadied.

At the start, SKY FULL OF STARS (Akshay Gaikwad, dr.8) jumped outwards and made contact with SAMSON (App. Aditya Waydande, dr.9).

At the start, WONDERLAND (Amyn Merchant, dr.10) jumped out awkwardly brushing the gates.

After the race, Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe (REGAL GALLERIA) reported that his mount was inclined outwards in the straight, despite his efforts. As such, Trainer B. Prithviraj has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

After the race, the Sr. V.O. reported the following:

CELESTINA was trotted and found to be sound

REGAL GALLERIA was trotted and found to be sound but was observed to have an injury on its right hind fetlock

TOUCH OF MYSTIC was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. As such, the filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

The urine and blood samples of the winner of the 1^st, 2^nd & 6^th race, viz. EXUMA, ADMIRABLE & SAMSON and the special samples of DIEGO GARCIA (1^st race), VIKING (3^rd race) & UNDERCOVER (5^th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substances.

RE: REQUEST FROM JOCKEY A. PRAKASH FOR AN EXEMPTION FROM SUSPENSION OF HIS JOCKEY’S LICENCE FOR INCOMPETENT RIDING ON HIS MOUNT “MADAM RICH” IN RACE NO.110 - THE THREPTIN FILLIES’ AND MARES’ STAKES (GRADE 3) (DIST. 1800 MTRS.) - RUN ON 4^TH OCTOBER 2025:

Vide letter dated 6^th March 2026 from Jockey A. Prakash, wherein he had informed this office that he has a riding engagement on “KINGS GAMBIT” in “The C. N. Wadia Gold Cup (Grade 2) powered by Mr. Zavaray S. Poonawalla” race to be run on Sunday, 15^th March 2026 and therefore requested for deferment of his punishment to some other date.

In view of the above, as per the Calendar Notification, his request has been acceded to and the revised date of suspension of his Jockey’s licence shall now be 7^th, 8^th, 21^st & 22^nd March 2026 (permitted to ride work/mock race). Further, in the event should he fail to fulfill his riding engagement in “The C. N. Wadia Gold Cup (Grade 2) powered by Mr. Zavaray S. Poonawalla” race to be run on Sunday, 15^th March 2026, he may not be permitted to ride in any other race on that day, no further deferment can be sought.
