RACE DAY REPORTS

RAILS WERE POSITIONED 2 METRES AWAY FROM THE ORIGINAL POINT FROM 2000 METRES UP TO 1300 METRES AND THEREAFTER 4 METRES WIDE TILL THE WINNING POST. RAILS WERE ALSO PLACED 2 METRES AWAY FROM ITS ORIGINAL POINT FROM 1200 METRES (CHUTE) TO 1000 METRES.

 

RACE NO.1(109) – THE BOUNTIFUL TREASURE PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 1200 Metres – 10 Runners

 

ALFREDO (P.S.Chouhan, dr.6) shifted in soon after start and went on to BLACKBEAN (S.Zervan, dr. 5), who in turn went on to MIDNIGHT ROMANCE (P.Kamlesh, dr.4) who further went on to MONEYWISE (App.Yash Narredu, dr.3)  Jockey P.S.Chouhan has been fined Rs.2,000/-. 

 

At about the 300 metres, MONEYWISE (App.Yash Narredu) was observed to have shifted in and tightened HYPOTHESIS (Neeraj Rawal).  App.Yash Narredu has been cautioned.

 

After the race, HYPOTHESIS, HERE I AM and VICTORY DANCER were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.2(110) – THE PREMIER COLLECTION PLATE: (About) 2000 Metres – 5 Runners – NO REPORT

 

RACE NO.3(111) – THE  SADDLE UP DOUBLE STAKES: (About) 1600 Metres – 5 Runners

 

EL CAMINO (P.Trevor) shifted out at 600 metres and made contact with HELPING HAND (J.Chinoy). Jockey P.Trevor has been cautioned.

 

After the race, on questioning Jockey P.Trevor, he stated that his mount did not relish the underfoot condition and further pointed out that the kick back from the track could be one of the reasons.  An enquiry has been ninitiated into the poor performance of EL CAMINO.

 

RACE NO.4(112) – THE RAPIER PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 1000 Metres – 8 Runners

 

BORN TO WIN (T.S.Jodha) took a fly jump, dislodging the rider.

 

CEZANNE (App.Yash Narredu, dr.2) jumped out awkwardly and went on to YOU’RE THE BOSS (J.Chinoy, dr.3).

 

Approaching 300 metres, BLITZKRIEG (App.S.A.Amit) who was travelling along the rails, was blocked of a clear run forcing the Apprentice to check his mount and make his run from the outside.

 

An enquiry has been initiated into the poor performance of NIOBRARA and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

After the race, ANTARTICA ZONE and NIOBRARA were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.5(113) – THE  BOUNTIFUL TREASURE PLATE (DIV.I): (About) 1200 Metres – 11 Runners

 

UKULELE (App.S.J.Sunil) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Sanjay Kolse has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

Soon after the start, STARRY MOMENT (App.D.R.Shubham, dr.7) shifted in before the red marker and bumped BLUE FLAME (App.Akshay Gaikwad) on two occasions. App.D.R.Shubham has been suspended for 26th September, 2015 for careless riding (permitted to ride work/mock race). 

 

At about 150 metres from the start, BLUE FLAME (App.Akshay Gaikwad) shifted in and went across ZABISCO (App.Yash Narredu) forcing him to check his mount and in the process ZABISCO stumbled and dropped back on to COLD PLAY (T.S.Jodha). The Stipendiary Stewards will be looking into the incident and submit a report.

 

ZABISCO (App.Yash Narredu) shifted out at the 500 metre marker on to WHITESOX (Suraj Narredu), who in turn went on to JEWEL (App.Raghuveer Singh). App.Yash Narredu has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

 

STAR LIGHTNING (App.Vishal) hung out in the straight. Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been advised to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

After the race, ZABISCO and WHITESOX were observed to have broken a blood vessel and are not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. Both the horses have to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, BLUE FLAME, DAISHONIN, STAR LIGHTNING, JEWEL and STARRY MOMENT (examined at the stables) were found to be sound.

 

 RACE NO.6(114) – THE GOEL GANGA GROUP SEPTEMBER HANDICAP: (About) 1600 Metres – 9 Runners

 

VERONIQUE (App.S.J.Sunil) was slowly out, losing about 8 lengths at the start. Trainer Sanjay Kolse has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

Soon after the start ROMANO (T.S.Jodha, dr.2) jostled between DR ZHIVAGO (N.S.Parmar, dr.1) and MULTIGLORY (Dashrath Singh, dr.3) and dropped back.

 

Passing the  200 metres, MASTER OF TRINITY (Neeraj Rawal) weakened and dropped back on to DR ZHIVAGO (N.S.Parmar). 

 

After the race, NIGHT OF STARS was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind coronet.

 

RACE NO.7(115) – THE AKKASAHEB MAHARAJ TROPHY (GR.3): (About) 1200 Metres – 10 Runners

 

The Sr.V.O. reported that during saddling, the right fore plate of SENORITA EVITA came out and the filly stepped on the nail and suffered nail prick in the right fore hoof. As such, SENORITA EVITA was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.

 

Passing 1000 metres, due to a tightly packed field, VICTORIOUS MARCH (App.S.J.Sunil) who was racing between ONE KEPT SECRET (Neeraj Rawal) and NEFYN (Suraj Narredu), was tightened and dropped back. 

 

After the race, WAY OUT was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, DANCING PRANCES, BRYNHILL, VICTORIOUS MARCH (examined at the stables) and NEFYN (examined on 07/09/2014), were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.8(116) – THE RAPIER PLATE (DIV.I): (About) 1000 Metres – 9 Runners

 

After the start, BELGIAN BLUE (D.K.Ashish, dr.8) came in sharply and bumped HEART OF THE CITY (App.Yash Narredu) and SAINTS N SINNERS (App.R.Ajinkya) who in turn tightened LUCKY CHARM (App.Akshay Gaikwad) and FREE SPEECH (S.Sunil). Jockey D.K.Ashish has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

 

After the race, Jockey D.K.Ashish (BELGIAN BLUE) reported that his mount was uncomfortable in the straight.

 

An enquiry has been initiated into the poor performance of BELGIAN BLUE and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

After the race, BELGIAN BLUE was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.9(117) – THE CAPITULATE PLATE: (About) 1400 Metres – 11 Runners

 

At the request of Trainer Nirad Karanjawala, SINDBAAD was examined at 1700 hours on 04/09/2015 and was observed to be showing symptoms of colic. As such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds.

 

Passing the 1200 metres, due to crowding of the field, DANCING SPLENDOUR (S.Mosin) dropped back on to SANSANI (App.S.J.Sunil), causing the latter to stumble.

 

ORIENTAL ROCKY (T.S.Jodha) was observed to drift out under pressure in the last 100 metres.

 

An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of SANSANI and a report will be submitted shortly.

 

After the race, STAYING ALIVE was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, SANSANI was found to be sound.
