RACE NO.1 (30) – THE MASTER OFTHE ROLLS PLATE: (About) 1000 Metres – 11 Runners
At the start, BEER HAND (C.S.Jodha) jumped awkwardly and stumbled on its own, losing ground.
At the start, BLESSED (App.Tushar Nemane) reared up losing ground.
After the race, FAHRENHEIT was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
After the race, BLESSED, WERE WOLF and AURARIA were found to be sound.
RACE NO.2 (31) – THE FAIR HAVEN TROPHY: (About) 1600 Metres – 4 Runners
After the race, ALMA MATER and CLARION CALL were found to be sound.
RACE NO.3(32) – THE P.HADOW TROPHY: (About) 1200 Metres – 7 Runners
Near 200 metres, PEPE JUNIOR (Akshay) lugged in and tightened HOME ALONE (Neeraj Rawal) for room. Trainer Rehanullah Khan has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting the gelding.
After the race, PEPE JUNIOR was found to be sound but having a cut injury at the right hind bulb of heel. OUR CHIEFTAIN was found to be sound.
RACE NO.4 (33) – THE ZAHRA PLATE: (About) 1400 Metres – 7 Runners
Jockey A.Sandesh (STARLIGHT MAGIC) has been fined Rs.1000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount and severely reprimanded for using his whip with excessive frequency in the final stages of the race.
The Sr.V.O. reported that after the race YUVILLE was scoped at the Club’s Equine Hospital at the behest of the Trainer and reported to have EIPH Grade-III. As such, the filly has been stopped from racing for the stipulated ban period of four weeks and until passed fit by the Club’s V.O.
After the race, BEYOND STARS was observed to have lost its left fore plate. ORIENTAL DAWN, MARAUDER, YUVILLE and PELIKANO were found to be sound.
RACE NO.5(34) – THE STAR COMRADE PLATE (DIV.I): (About) 1200 Metres – 16 Runners
FAST AND FURIOUS (P.Trevor) was reluctant on the way to the start. Trainer Zadmal Singh has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
At the start, FOLLOW ME (C.S.Jodha, dr.1) jumped awkwardly outwards and went on to RELIC HUNTER (R.Rupesh, dr.2). DOUBLE DIAMOND (App.Nikhil Bhujbal, dr.6) shifted outwards and caused CRIMSON AND CLOVER (Nirmal Jodha, dr.7) to shift on to GOOD LOOKING (A.Sandesh, dr.8) who made contact with FAST AND FURIOUS (P.Trevor, dr.9).
Soon after the start, BANANA BOY (Malcolm Kharadi, dr.11) was hampered for run as FAST AND FURIOUS (P.Trevor, dr.9) shifted outwards and at the same time BELLE BRISE (App.S.Mosin, dr.13) shifted in. Jockey P.Trevor has been cautioned and no action has been taken against App.S.Mosin as his rein had snapped possibly due to which he lost control over his mount.
Near 1000 metres, BELLE BRISE (App.S.Mosin) drifted outwards and raced along the outer rails. After the race, App.S.Mosin reported that his right rein snapped and he lost control over his mount. The equipment was found to be in serviceable condition.
The saddle on FAST AND FURIOUS was observed to have slipped back during the race, as such, Trainer Zadmal Singh has been fined Rs. 2000/-.
Trainer C.D.Katrak has been fined Rs.1000/- for taking his charge RELIC HUNTER (Placed third), away from the Paddock before the All Clear was given.
After the race, BANANA BOY was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
After the race, GOOD LOOKING was found to be sound.
RACE NO.6 (35) – THE RAJA BAHADUR PETTIE MILLION: (About) 1200 Metres – 14 Runners
COLOURS FLYING (P.Trevor) fly jumped, losing about a length at the start.
Approaching 1000 metres, CAPRI (A.Sandesh) was tightened for room as the front horses shifted inwards.
Passing 200 metres, HOME ADVANTAGE (S.Zervan) shifted out under the use of the whip and went across BELMONT (Imran Chisty). Jockey S.Zervan has been cautioned.
MONZA (C.Rajendra) hung out in the straight. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Jockey Neeraj Rawal (AMAZING DESIRE) reported that his mount ran green during the race.
The saddle on BELMONT slipped back during the race, as such, Trainer C.D.Katrak has been fined Rs.2000/-.
The Sr.V.O. reported that after the race CHICHARITO showed signs of distress in the paddock. First aid was administered and the gelding was taken to the Equine Hospital by Horse Ambulance for further management.
The Sr.V.O. reported that COLOURS FLYING and MONZA were both examined at the stables on 06/08/2012 and found to be sound. COLOURS FLYING had an injury below right fore knee.
MONZA (C.Rajendra) was placed fifth and COLOURS FLYING (P.Trevor) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
RACE NO.7(36) – THE GOLDEN EDITION PLATE: (About) 1800 Metres – 10 Runners
Near 200 metres, PERFECT STRENGTH (Vikram Jodha) lugged in and tightened RAZEENAA (P.Trevor) who went on to ZAMBEZI (Nirmal Jodha), who was steadied.
Jockey A.M.Tograllu (CARLYLE HILLS) has been cautioned for changing course inwards in the final stages.
Jockey P.Trevor (RAZEENAA) reported that his mount lugged out during the race. Trainer Nina M.Lalvani has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
HOUDINI (A.J.Nilesh) was inclined to lug out during the race. Trainer Faisal A.Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
After the race, RODEO was found to be sound but having a cut injury at the left hind cannon and had also lost its left hind plate. BLUE KNIGHT had a cut injury at the right hind pastern. CARLYLE HILLS, RAZEENAA, HOUDINI, ZAMBEZI and PERFECT STRENGTH were found to be sound.
RACE NO.8 (37) – THE ATOMIC PRINCE PLATE: (About) 1000 Metres – 14 Runners
At the time of stalling, STAR SURPRISE (Altaf Sayyed) reared up and dropped the rider who was hurt and unable to ride. As such, the filly was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. Trainer C.D.Katrak has been asked to show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
At the start, KERRISDALE (C.Rajendra) knuckled under and was slow to begin.
SWEARING IN (M.Roushan) and ICE AGE (V.Phadke) travelled wide in the early part of the race.
Approaching 800 metres, THREE ROSES (Shrikant Kamble) shifted inwards and inconvenienced KHAMSIN (Imran Chisty). Jockey Shrikant Kamble has been cautioned.
Approaching 600 metres, HOT AS ICE (T.S.Jodha) shifted in and caused KERRISDALE (C.Rajendra) to shift inwards who in turn caused interference to STAR GAZING (J.Chinoy). Jockey T.S.Jodha has been fined Rs.1000/-.
In the final stages of the race, THREE ROSES (Shrikant Kamble) had its ground taken as KHAMSIN (Imran Chisty) shifted inwards.
Jockey V.Phadke (ICE AGE) reported that he lost his whip when his whip hit the rails on straightening for home.
After the race, STAR GAZING and ICE AGE were observed to have a cut injury at the left hind pastern. WIND AND RAIN and STAR SURPRISE were found to be sound.
RACE NO.9 (38) – THE STAR COMRADE PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 1200 Metres – 16 Runners
Jockey A.M.Tograllu (VAILE ROUGE) reported loss of whip near 200 metres.
MIDNIGHT LADY (S.Shinde) lugged out during the race. Trainer Adil Dajee has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting the filly.
The saddle on GLORIOUS SONG (App.S.Mosin) slipped back during the race, as such, Trainer Karthik G. has been fined Rs.2000/-.
After the race, VOYAGER and MIDNIGHT LADY were found to be sound.

The post race urine sample of the winners of the 1st, 2nd, 6th and 9th race viz. AUTUMN RUSH, STAR OF GIBRALTAR, AMAZING DESIRE and ROSALIND as also that of QUE SERA SERA & COMMANDER (6th race) and the special sample of YUVILLE (4th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
