RACE NO.1(43) – THE NELSON RIVER PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 1000 Metres – 8 Runners

 

Near 500 metres, STYLISH STROKES (R.Vaibhav) scrapped rails and then drifted outwards, across the Track and fell and in the process made contact with PISTOL PACKIN MAMA (V.Chandrakant).

 

Jockey Vivek (MIDNIGHT WIND) was observed not to have ridden out his mount for about 300 metres. The explanation of the Jockey that his mount was uncomfortable in the straight and therefore he had not ridden out his mount was noted since the Sr. VO reported that the filly returned sore after the race.

 

Jockey Vikram Jodha (RIO DEL RAY) has been reprimanded for his feeble riding effort in the straight.

 

VICTORIOUS CAUSE (R.Shelar) lugged-in in the straight. Trainer Ivor Fernandes has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

 

The Sr.V.O. reported that during the race STYLISH STROKES fell down near 400 metres marker.  The gelding was observed to have bled (EIPH) and showing drop down of the right hind fetlock. First aid treatment was given and the gelding was sent to the Equine Hospital for further management. Subsequently, the X-ray revealed no abnormality. The gelding was observed to have abrasion on the right hind fetlock and hock and was sore by the right hind leg. The gelding is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks and has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

After the race, MIDNIGHT LADY was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, MIDNIGHT WIND was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, WILD IMAGINATION and VICTORIOUS CAUSE were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.2(44) – THE NELSON RIVER PLATE (DIV.I): (About) 1000 Metres – 9 Runners

 

On the way to the start, CEASARINA (Bhanu Pratap Singh) dislodged the rider and bolted towards the winning post. As per the norms, the Trainer was consulted who informed that he wished to run the filly.

 

After the race, CEASARINA was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind fetlock, TOPTRICK had a cut injury at the left hind coronet and an abrasion at the right hind fetlock and TUSCANIA had a gum injury. YARDSTICK was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.3(45) – THE MAYOR’S TROPHY: (About) 1800 Metres – 6 Runners

                                      

DIXIE DELIGHT (C.S.Jodha) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

Jockey A.Sandesh (SPLENDID LIGHT) reported that his mount leaned in its Stall and scrapped the Gate at jump out.

 

RACE NO.4(46) – THE HURRICANE PLATE : (About) 1200 Metres – 7 Runners

 

At the request of Trainer Narendra Lagad, DARK KNIGHT was examined at 0945 hours on 04/08/2013 and found to be sore by the right fore leg, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit to race by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race. 

 

MONTERAY (Bhanu Pratap Singh) played up in the stall due to which the rider was injured and unable to ride. As such, MONTERAY was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order.

 

Near 900 metres, MY DIVA (A.Ashhad Asbar) drifted outwards and rejoined the field after travelling some distance.

 

Near 800 metres, LAURUS PRIDE (T.S.Jodha) was inconvenienced while travelling on the inside and behind VALOROZKY (Akshay).

 

Near 300 metres, GOTTAWEARSHADES (Zameer Sayyed) was hampered for a run and steadied while racing on the inside of VALOROZKY (Akshay).

 

Jockey Akshay (VALOROZKY) lost his left rein near 200 metres which he regained shortly.

 

Jockey Akshay (VALOROZKY) has been fined Rs.3,000/- for feeble riding in the last few strides of the race whereby he lost fourth Place.

PALACE GIRL (Neeraj Rawal) lugged-in under pressure in the straight. Trainer Rehanullah Khan has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

 

After the race, MY DIVA and VALOROZKY (examined on 05/08/2013) were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.5(47)  – THE RACE OF HOPE GOLD CUP (DIV.II): (About) 1200 Metres – 10 Runners

 

Trainer Altaf Hussain has been fined Rs.1,000/- for not using the Chifney Bit on his charge SKYWALK, for the use of which prior permission was obtained.

 

Jockey S.Sunil (SKYWALK) reported that his mount was inclined to run out throughout the race.  Trainer Altaf Hussain has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

After the race, ALVIRA and SALSA were observed to have a cut injury at the left hind pastern and FONTANELLE had a cut injury at the left hind cannon.

 

RACE NO.6(48) – THE RACE OF HOPE GOLD CUP (DIV.I): (About) 1200 Metres – 11 Runners

 

After being stalled, BACKSTREET BAY (R.Shelar) played up in the stall and fell on the haunches. The filly was taken out and examined by the Club’s V.O. who certified her fit to race. Trainer C.D.Katrak has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

Near 300 metres, HEAD OF STATE (Abhishek Habbu) shifted out and went across ADMINISTRATE (N.S.Parmar).

 

Jockey Dashrath Singh (FOUR STAR GENERAL) has been fined Rs.2,000/- for Improper use of the whip wherein he had used the whip with excessive intensity.

 

After the race, FOUR STAR GENERAL was found to be sound, but having a cut injury at the left hind fetlock. ADMINISTRATE was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.7(49) – THE TURF CLUB TROPHY (GR.3): (About) 1400 Metres – 9 Runners – No Reports

 

RACE NO.8(50) – THE THEUR HAMLET TROPHY: (About) 1800 Metres – 9 Runners

 

Jockey Dashrath Singh (FORTUNE FAVOURS) has been fined Rs.3,000/- for Improper use of the whip wherein he had used the whip with excessive intensity.

After the race, HOT PEPPER and JENS SECRET were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.9(51) – THE KIA ORA PLATE: (About) 1600 Metres – 6 Runners

 

At the request of Trainer Dallas Todywalla, MOUNTAIN FORCE was examined at  1015 hours on 04/08/2013   and found to be sore by the left fore leg, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds. The gelding has to be passed fit to race by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race. 

 

Jockey Neeraj Rawal (HONEST PLEASURE) has been cautioned for allowing his mount to shift out in the straight under the use of the whip and in the process he carried SUN SALUTATION (Dashrath Singh) outwards.

 

Jockey Dashrath Singh (SUN SALUTATION) has been fined Rs.5,000/- for Improper use of the whip wherein he had used the whip with excessive intensity.

 

Jockey Dasrath Singh (SUN SALUTATIION) reported that had his reins got stuck which he could not free throughout the race.

After the race, APPALACHIA was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.10(52) – THE MASTER OFTHE ROLLS PLATE: (About) 1400 Metres – 11 Runners

 

At the Start, TWITTILLATOR (Akshay) and MACHO UNO (App.S.Mosin) jumped awkwardly outwards. DAREDEVIL (T.S.Jodha) jumped awkwardly outwards and went on to MOUNTAIN WARRIOR (Vivek).

 

Passing 800 metres, MONEY STRIKE (C.S.Jodha) shifted in and went on to MOUNTAIN WARRIOR (Vivek). who in turn shifted in and hampered MACHO UNO (App.S.Mosin) due to which LIGHT MY WAY (A.Ashhad Asbar) shied and shifted in and hampered the running of ADAMS PRINCE (Kavraj Singh). Jockey C.S.Jodha has been fined Rs.2,000/-.

Jockey Kavraj Singh (ADAMS PRINCE) has been fined Rs.1,000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. 

 

After the race, TWITTILLATOR was found to be sound, but having a cut injury at the right knee and also had a gum injury. LIGHT MY WAY and BY THE WAY were found to be sound.

The post race urine sample of the winner of 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th and 7th race, viz. RISING ANGEL, CEASARINA, MATTER OF HEART, TRISARA and STORM TRACKER & RAJASTHAN ROYALS, as also that of WEIZHOU (7th race) and the special sample of MIDNIGHT LADY (1st race) and FOUR STAR GENERAL (6th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
