(FALSE RAILS WERE PLACED 3 METRES WIDE FROM 1600 METRES UPTO THE WINNING POST. FALSE RAILS WERE ALSO PLACED ABOUT 3 METRES WIDE FROM 1200 METRES CHUTE TILL 1000 METRES.

RACE NO.1 (106) – THE  STAR MILLIONAIRE PLATE: (About) 1600 Metres – 5 Runners

 

Trainer Nina M.Lalvani has been fined Rs.1000/- for failing to produce the Registered racing colours in respect of he charge SOLOR. The Jockey wore the Emergency Colours i.e. All Black.

 

SVELTE LADY (App.Rushar Nemane) jumped out awkwardly.

 

Soon after the start, JACQUES (Nirmal Jodha) whipped around towards the outside and took no part in the race. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to show the gelding in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting to race.

 

SVELTE LADY (App.Tushar Nemane) travelled wide while negotiating the bend and in the straight. Since the mare was reported to be sore, no action has been initiated.

 

After the race, SVELTE LADY was found to be sore by the left fore leg.  The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, JACQUES was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.2 (107) – THE  STAR SHINE PLATE: (About) 1200 Metres – 9 Runners

 

TAG ALONG TOMMY (Ishwar Pardeshi) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Sanjay Kolse has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

At the start, MYSTIC REWARD (App.Prasad) tried to veer to the outside and then trailed the field.

 

Soon after the start, LUCKY RED (D.K.Ashish) was crowded and lost position.

 

Following the poor performance of HAWK OF THE WIND Trainer S.K.Sunderji opted for scoping of his charge and the gelding was reported to have EIPH Grade-III.  Also, the gelding had a cut injury above the right eye.. HAWK OF THE WIND is not to race for the stipulated period of 4 weeks. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, RED TABASCO was found to be sore by the left fore leg.  Also, the gelding had a bruise at the left saddle area. RED TABASCO has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, AUTUMN RUSH was observed to have a cut injury at the right hock and had lost its right hind plate and  STAR BLESSINGS had a cut injury at the right hock. MYSTIC REWARD was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.3(108)  – THE  NITROUS PLATE: (About) 2400 Metres – 5 Runners

 

After the race, CELESTIAL CALL & BLUE KNIGHT were found to be sound. CELESTIAL CALL had a gum injury. 

 

RACE NO.4(109)  – THE  ZAFAYONA PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 1400 Metres – 9 Runners

 

Passing 600 metres, CHIQUITA (Malcolm Kharadi) was ridden to maneuver from the outside of PRINCE ARIUS (Akshay) and at the same time SONG OF AFRICA (C.S.Jodha) leaned inwards, due to which CHIQUITA was hampered for a run and Jockey Malcolm Kharadi lost his left stirrup which he regained shortly.

 

Jockey T.S.Jodha (ELECTRA) has been fined Rs.1000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.

 

App.S.Mosin (FOXTROT) reported that his mount was inclined to lug-in during the race. Trainer Mansoor Shah has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

After the race, SAVAGE GARDEN, PRINCE ARIUS (examined on 03/09/2012) and FOXTROT (examined on 03/09/2012), were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.5(110) – THE  DR.S.R.CAPTAIN TROPHY: (About) 1200 Metres – 6 Runners

 

MARTINIQUE (S.Zervan) lugged outwards for a few strides and caused SEA TREASURE (A.Ashhad Asbar) to shift out, who in turn forced BLUE SKY (B.Prakash) to shift out, who went on to DAFFODILS (Shrikant Kamble).

 

After the race, GREATNESS was found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.6(111) – THE ZAFAYONA PLATE (DIV.I): (About) 1400 Metres – 9 Runners

 

At the start, SUKI SUKI (Amyn Merchant, dr..2) jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with MIRACLE OF MERCY (T.S.Jodha, dr.3).

 

Soon after the start, CEASARINA (Akash Agarwal) was tightened due to a tightly packed field and lost position. Further the Jockey reported that after the interference the filly lost interest and he found her uncomfortable. The Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality.

 

After the race, CESARINA, SUKI SUKI, SAYTA MEV JAYATE and PUMBA were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.7(112) – THE  AGP COLTS’ & FILLIES’ MILLION: (About) 1400 Metres – 8 Runners

 

Soon after the start, BRYNHILL (Dashrath Singh) raced keen and shifted in despite Jockey’s effort and caused interference to MZIMA (D.K.Ashish) and after travelling some distance further, again shifted in and caused interference to COLOURS FLYING (S Zervan).

 

Jockey Imran Chisty (ATTRIBUTE) reported that his mount lugged-in in the straight. Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

 

The Sr.V.O. reported that MZIMA was examined at the stables on 03/09/2012 and found to be sore by the right fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

 

After the race, BRYNHILL was observed to have a cut injury at the right nostril and both hind pastern. CATHARSIS and  SOURCE CODE (examined on 03//09/2012) were found to be sound.

 

HOME FACTOR (Neeraj Rawal) was placed fifth and SOURCE CODE (Zameer Sayyed) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.

 

RACE NO.8(113)  – THE  HYATT REGENCY, PUNE TROPHY: (About) 1000 Metres – 14 Runners

 

At the start, MIDNIGHT LADY (V.Phadke) jumped awkwardly.

 

Jockeys Dashrath Singh (STARTEGY) shifted in before the Red Marker and hampered the running of MOON SHADOW (Amyn Merchant) who went on to PATRIOTIC (Abhishek Habbu). Jockey Dashrath Singh has been fined Rs.2000/-.

 

Jockey Amyn Merchant (MOON SHADOW) has been fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in before the Red Marker.

 

Jockey D.K.Ashish (BARRINGO) has been fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in before Red Marker.

 

Soon after the start, FIRE GODDESS (F.Irani) lugged out and caused ICE SKATES (Akshay) to shift out, who in turn jostled with PATRIOTIC (Abhishek Habbu). Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

 

Near 900 metres, MERCK (C.S.Jodha) shifted in and caused interference to HABIBIAN (Neeraj Rawal). Jockey C.S.Jodha has been cautioned.

 

MIDNIGHT LADY (V.Phadke) hung out in the straight,. Trainer Adil Dajee has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.

 

After the race, MOON SHADOW and FIRE GODDESS were found to be sore by the left fore leg.  Both the horses have to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, MIDNIGHT LADY was found to be sound but having a cut injury at the right hind coronet and STRATEGY had a bruise at the left hind cannon. BARRINGO and DASHING INDIAN were found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.9(114) – THE LEGAL STEPS PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 1000 Metres – 11 Runners

 

At the start, MEDIATOR (V.Phadke) took a fly jump. SAMBURU (R.K.Mahesh) jumped out awkwardly and tried to drift outwards, losing ground.

 

At the start, YOUR LORDSHIP (App.Nikhil Bhujbal) hung inwards and jostled with MEDIATOR (V.Phadke) who in turn jostled with MACHALA (S.Sunil). Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to show the gelding in a Mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

Jockey Akshay (CUBA) has been fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting in before the Red Marker.

 

ARABIAN FIGHTER (T.S.Jodha) was forced to travel wide while negotiating the bend.

 

After the race, WHITE FEATHER was observed to have a cut injury at the left hind cannon.

 

RACE NO.10(115) – THE LEGAL STEPS PLATE (DIV.I): (About) 1000 Metres – 11 Runners

 

At the Start, PEZZONOVANTE (F.Irani, dr.2) jumped awkwardly outwards and at the same time ALLEGIANCE (Akash Agarwal, dr.4) jumped awkwardly inwards and tightened REWARDING (App.S.Mosin, dr.3) and due to the impact ALLEGIANCE ricocheted off REWARDING and went on to ZAMBEZI (Amyn Merchant, dr.5) who itself had shifted in after an awkward jump and in the process lost position.

 

Jockey Akshay (WILD IMAGINATION) has been reprimanded for shifting-in in the early part of the race.

 

ALLEGIANCE (Akash Agarwal) hung -in in during the race and near 300 metres shifted ground and went across JUSTERINI (App Tushar Nemane). Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

WILD IMAGINATION (Akshay) lugged out in the straight. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the mare.

 

STAR OF ZOLTAN (S.Sunil) lugged-in in the straight and passing 200 metres, forced ZAMBEZI (Amyn Merchant), ASHWA PRAHAR (App.Prasad) and JUSTERINI (App.Tushar Nemane) inwards. Trainer Faisal A Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.

 

After the race, JUSTERINI found to be sore by the right fore leg.  Also, the mare had lost its lost its right fore plate. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, ALLEGIANCE, PEZZONOVANTE, WILD IMAGINATION and STAR OF ZOLTAN (examined on 03/-9/2012) were found to be sound.

The post race urine sample of the winners of the  3rd, 4th, 5th & 7th race, viz. ANGEL CROWN, ELECTRA, BLUE SKY and BIZARRO, as also that of CATHARSIS & ATTRIBUTE (5th race) and the special sample of HAWK OF THE WIND (2nd race),  were collected for detection of prohibited substance.

The Sr.V.O. reported that MONEY FLASH was observed after the mock race to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated period of four weeks and until passed fit by the Club’s V.O.
