ADDITIONAL REPORT/S:

ENQUIRY INTO THE INTERFERENCE IN RACE NO.12 - THE AGNI PLATE (DIV.I) RUN ON 25TH JULY 2014:

1)    Passing 600 metres, EARTH QUAKE (S.P.Ranjane) shifted-in and tightened CEASARINA (App.D.S.Daman), who in turn caused interference to UNICO CORAZON (Vikram Walkar). Shortly afterwards, LUCKY CHARM (J.E.Pereira) shifted-in and went on to EARTH QUAKE, who in turn went on to CEASARINA, who went across UNICO CORAZON. An enquiry was initiated into the incident, wherein Jockeys S.P.Ranjane (EARTH QUAKE) and J.E.Pereira (LUCKY CHARM) were questioned in this regard.

Jockey J.E.Pereira stated that LUCKY CHARM has a habit of lugging-in and therefore he had his whip in his right hand and the gelding may have shifted in near 600 metres which may have resulted in EARTH QUAKE shifting in. Jockey S.P.Ranjane was informed that he had allowed his mount to shift in, even before LUCKY CHARM had shifted in on to his mount. After considering the evidence, Jockeys S.P.Ranjane and J.E.Pereira have been asked to be more careful in the future.

2)   Approaching 200 metres, LUCKY CHARM (J.E.Pereira) shifted out and travelled wide losing ground. An enquiry was initiated into the riding of Jockey J.E.Pereira at that stage. Jockey J.E.Pereira stated that till about 200 metres, the horse travelled well and suddenly drifted out, giving him no chance to respond and by the time he collected his mount, LUCKY CHARM had drifted out quite a bit in the straight. He added that he could not have done any better under the circumstances. The explanation was noted.
