RAILS WERE PLACED AT THE ORIGINAL POINT
RACE NO.1(287) THE JEHAN NUMA PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 1200 Metres Runners - 10
At the start ENGLISH LASS (D. A. Naik, dr.6) jumped out inwards and was slow to start.
Soon after the start, GYAHANA (App. Vishal, dr.5) shifted out and at the same time MOONDROPS (App. H. Zeeshan, dr.7) shifted in, due to which ENGLISH LASS (D. A. Naik, dr.6) was inconvenienced.
An enquiry has been initiated into the improved performance of ARMEL and a report will be submitted shortly.

RACE NO.3(289) THE V.R.MENON PLATE: ( About) 2000 Metres Runners 6
At the start, JESTER (J. Chinoy, dr.6) jumped out awkwardly throwing its head up.
Passing 1800 metres, CHARGING EMPRESS (App. D. S. Daman) shifted in thereby tightening ALLEGIANCE (App. Bhawani Singh) along the rails.
After the race, JESTER and CHARGING EMPRESS were trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.4(290) THE J.ROBINSON PLATE: (About) 1800 Metres Runners - 5
At the start, EIGERS TIGER (Dashrath Singh, dr.4) jumped outwards and had to be steadied.
After the race, Jockey A. Sandesh (SNOW CRYSTAL) reported that his mount hung out in the straight. Trainer Karthik G. has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the filly.
After the race, SNOW CRYSTAL was trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.5(291) THE K.M.MUNSHI TROPHY: (About) 1000 Metres Runners - 5
Soon after the start, Jockey T. S. Jodha (MERCHANTOFVENICE), in an effort to settle his mount, shifted in and made contact with GOLDEN BELLE (App. Yash Narredu).
After the race, MALEFICENT was found to be sound in the trot, but having a gum injury.
RACE NO.6(292) THE V.P.KOREGAONKAR PLATE: (About) 1400 Metres Runners 7
ALISHAS PET was permitted to be withdrawn on compassionate grounds.
Soon after the start, BARRINGO (Amyn Merchant) shifted in and went across IRIDESCENCE (Neeraj Rawal) who had to be checked. Jockey Amyn Merchant has been cautioned.
Passing 450 metres, FEW DOLLARS MORE (A. Sandesh) shifted out on to STAND AND DANCE (App. D. S. Daman) who had to be checked. Jockey A. Sandesh has been cautioned.
After the race, STAND AND DANCE and HEDWIG were trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.7(293) THE JEHAN NUMA PLATE (DIV.I): (About) 1200 Metres Runners 10
ROCKING (App. Santosh G.) reared up as the start was effected, resulting in the rider getting dislodged. Trainer H. J. Antia has been asked to give the gelding more gate practice and show him to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
At the start, GOLDEN GLORY (App. R. Ajinkya, dr.4) was observed to have leaned against its starting stall and jumped out brushing the same.
Approaching 1000 metres, WHITESOX (App. D.S. Daman) who was racing between GOOD MEMORY (App. H. Zeeshan) and SHIVALIK SKIES (Hanumant Singh), was tightened for room and had to be checked.
Jockey T. S. Jodha (LAS SALINAS) has been fined Rs.1,000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
App. R. Ajinkya (GOLDEN GLORY) has been fined Rs.3000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
An enquiry has been initiated into the improved performance of LAS SALINAS and a report will be submitted shortly.
After the race, SHIVALIK SKIES was observed to have broken a blood vessel. Being a second time bleeder, the mare is not to race for the stipulated ban period of eight weeks and has to be passed fit by the Clubs V.O. before next accepting to race.
After the race, CRITICAL STRIKE and GOOD MEMORY (examined on 03/04/2016) were trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.8(294) THE AHMED I.RAHIMTOOLA TROPHY: (About) 1200 Metres Runners - 11
At the start, PHILADELPHIA (A. Sandesh, dr. 5) shifted out and at the same time BLAZE THE TRACK (Kishore Kadam, dr.7) shifted in, due to which MEKONG DELTA (T. S. Jodha, dr. 6) was tightened and had to be checked.
At the start, EL TYCOON (Shrikant Kamble, dr.9) shifted in on to DAYDREAMER (S. Zervan, dr. 8) who had to be checked.
Approaching 1000 metres, BOUNTY QUEEN (N. Rawal) shifted out on to DOUBLE NINE (J. Chinoy) who had to be steadied. On questioning, Jockey N. Rawal stated that his mount shied outwards.
Passing 1000 metres, EL TYCOON (Shrikant Kamble) shifted in thereby Inconveniencing MUSTANG (App. Yash Narredu).
Approaching 800 metres, PHILADELPHIA (A. Sandesh) who was racing between EL TYCOON (Shrikant Kamble) and BLAZE THE TRACK (Kishore Kadam), was tightened for room and dropped back.
Passing 500 metres, DOUBLE NINE (J. Chinoy) shifted out and took the ground of ITS A DEAL (S. Sunil) who had to be checked. Jockey J. Chinoy has been cautioned.
Passing 350 metres, BLAZE THE TRACK (Kishore Kadam) shifted out thereby inconveniencing ITS A DEAL (S. Sunil).
After the race, ITS A DEAL was trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.9(295) THE JAYANT M.SHAH PLATE: (About) 1400 Metres Runners - 12
DIVINE SOLITAIRE was permitted to be withdrawn on compassionate grounds.
Tr. M. K. Jadhav has been fined Rs.1,000/- for failing to produce the Registered Racing Colours in respect of his charge STRAWBERRY CRUSH (App. R. Ajinkya). The Apprentice wore the Emergency Colours i.e. All Black.
At the start, SPONTANEOUS EDDIE (J. E. Pereira, dr.8) jumped outwards and at the same time ROYAL CLASSIC (App. Bhawani Singh, dr.9) jumped inwards and jostled with each other.
Approaching 1200 metres, MIDNIGHT RUN (Kishore Kadam) shifted in thereby inconveniencing ACHIEVE (App. Santosh. G) who had to be steadied

After the race, ARSENAL, SPONTANEOUS EDDIE, ROYAL CLASSIC and MATRIOSHKA were trotted and found to be sound.

The post race urine sample of the winners of all races viz. ARMEL (1st race), MELINDA (2nd race), DIABLO (3rd race), IMPERIAL HERITAGE (4th race), GOLDEN BELLE (5th race), FEW DOLLARS MORE (6th race), LAS SALINAS (7th race), AIRLIFT (8th race) and MAGIC IN THE AIR (9th race), and the special sample of SHIVALIK SKIES (7th race) and ARSENAL (9th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance.

The Sr. V.O. reported that ZIPPY was observed to have broken a blood vessel after the Morning Track Work on 31st March, 2016. Being a second time bleeder, the mare is not to race for the stipulated ban period of eight weeks and has to be passed fit by the Clubs V.O. before next accepting to race.
