On a request from Trainer Rajesh Narredu, permission was granted to Trainer S. Narredu to saddle his charge IMPERIAL STAR in the 7th race, at his own (Trainer Rajesh Narredu’s) risk and responsibility.

RACE NO.1(94) – THE COROMANDEL GROMOR MILLION POWERED BY COROMANDEL INTERNATIONAL LIMITED: (ABOUT) 1200 METRES – RUNNERS - 8

 

At the start, AZRINAZ (A. Sandesh, dr.1) stumbled at the start.

 

At the start, TIMELESS VISION (App. S. Saba, dr.3) jumped inwards and made contact with CONSTABLE (Vivek G., dr.2) who had to be steadied.

 

Soon after the start, EMPEROR RODERIC (C. Umesh) lost its footing momentarily.

 

After the race, EMPEROR RODERIC was observed to have lost its right fore shoe.

 

After the race, HALL OF GRACE & TIMELESS VISION were trotted and found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.2(95) – THE KEKI D. MEHTA MEMORIAL MILLION: (ABOUT) 1600 METRES – RUNNERS - 12

 

DIEGO GARCIA (A. Sandesh, dr.12) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the colt to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.

 

BRIGHT BUTTON (Neeraj Rawal, dr.1) and LEADING LIGHT (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.2) lost about a length each at the start.

 

At the start, ALLEZ L’ETOILE (S. Zeran, dr.3) jumped outwards and had to be steadied.

 

After the race, Jockey S. Zervan (ALLEZ L’ETOILE) reported that his mount hung out throughout the race despite his efforts. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

 

After the race, ALLEZ L’ETOILE was trotted and found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.3(96) – THE RUSI PATEL TROPHY  (Grade 3): (ABOUT) 1600 METRES – RUNNERS - 7

 

After the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar (MOJITO) reported that after jumping out the cross nose band got displaced and it disturbed the gelding throughout the race. Trainer S.S. Shah has been fined Rs.1,000/- for faulty equipment.

 

Passing the 100 metres, EL GRECO (Neeraj Rawal) shifted out at the same time MOJITO (N. S. Parmar) leaned inwards due to which CHRISTOFLE (Vivek G.) racing between them was tightened and had to be checked. After questioning all concerned, Jockey N. S. Parmar and Jockey Neeraj Rawal have been fined Rs.3,000/- each.

 

After the race, Jockey T. S. Jodha (DREAM ALLIANCE) reported that approaching the 300 metres his mount was held up for room.

 

After the race, WEST BROOK was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not permitted to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

 

RACE NO.4(97) – THE SIR HOMI MEHTA BREEDERS' PRODUCE STAKES: (ABOUT) 1400 METRES – RUNNERS - 11

 

At the start, ZAFFARENO (P. Trevor, dr.4) jumped outwards and made contact with STORMY SEA (N. S. Parmar, dr.5).

 

AQUILIUS (S. Zervan, dr.7) lost about a length at the start.

 

Jockey A. Sandesh (ICE OF FIRE) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Mumbai meeting 2024/25, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

 

Jockey Yash Narredu (GUNSMOKE) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Mumbai meeting 2024/25, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

 

Jockey C. S. Jodha (SOVEREIGN KING) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit and in an improper way on his mount. On questioning, Jockey C. S. Jodha stated that his mount inclined inwards and he had used the whip as a corrective measure, as the same was borne out form the video of the race, no action was initiated against the Jockey. However, Trainer Adhirajsinigh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race and Jockey C. S. Jodha has been asked to be more careful in the future.

 

After the race, Jockey David Allan (PROKOFIEV) reported that approaching the 400 metres, he was held up for room momentarily.

 

After the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar (STORMY SEA) reported that he was held up for room in the straight on more than one occasion.

 

After the race, SURREALIST was observed to have lost its right hind shoe.

 

RACE NO.5(98) – THACKERS ECLIPSE STAKES OF INDIA  (Grade 2): (ABOUT) 2000 METRES – RUNNERS - 5

 

The Equine Hospital reported that ZUCCARO had left eye injury (sore) with ulcer.

 

After the race, GEGORAPHIQUE was trotted and found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.6(99) – THE B. K. RATTONSEY MEMORIAL MAIDEN MULTI-MILLION: (ABOUT) 1200 METRES – RUNNERS - 13

 

AR FIRST STAR (Bhawani Singh, dr.5) and MIRACLE STAR (David Allan, dr.8) lost about a length  each at the start

 

Jockey Mukesh Kumar (MERLET) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Mumbai meeting 2024/25, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

 

After the race, Jockey Bhawani Singh (AR FIRST STAR) reported that his mount was inclined outwards throughout the race, despite his efforts. Trainer B. Prithviraj has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting the race.

 

After the race, GIACOMO was trotted and found to be sound.

 

RACE NO.7(100) – THE HPSL INDIAN DERBY  (Grade 1): (ABOUT) 2400 METRES – RUNNERS - 16

 

Approaching the 2200 metres, PYRITE (Mukesh Kumar) shifted in and went across ODYSSEUS (Tom Marquand) who had to check and change course thereby bumping and inconveniencing GOLDEN THUNDER (David Allan) who in turn shifted out, bumping and carrying CASTEEL (Suraj Narredu) outwards onto PSYCHIC STAR (C. Lemaire). After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey Mukesh Kumar has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

 

Jockey Akshay Kumar (POSITANO) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. On questioning, Jockey Akshay Kuamar stated that his mount was inclined outwards in final stages and he had used the whip as a corrective measure, as the same was borne out form the video of the race, no action was initiated against the Jockey. However, Trainer S. S. Attaollahi has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race

 

Jockey Imran Chisty (THALASSA) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. On questioning, Jockey Imran Chisty stated that his mount hung-in and he had used the whip as a corrective measure, as the same was borne out form the video of the race, no action was initiated against the Jockey. However, Trainer Faisal A. Abbas has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.

 

Jockey Mukesh Kumar (PYRITE) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his second offence during the current Mumbai meeting 2024/25, he has been fined Rs.5,000/-.

 

Jockey P. Trevor (DUKE OF TUSCANY) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his second offence during the current Mumbai meeting 2024/25, he has been fined Rs.5,000/-.

 

After the race, AFRICAN GOLD was observed to have a gum injury.

 

After the race, CASTEEL was observed to have an injury on left hind fetlock.

 

After the race, POSITANO was observed to have an injury on right hind pastern.

 

After the race, SANTISSIMO was observed to have an injury below left stifle.

 

RACE NO.8(101) – IN MEMORY OF ENABLER MILLION: (ABOUT) 1400 METRES – RUNNERS - 12

 

On arrival at the starting gate, at the request of Jockey R. Ajinkya, MARCUS was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by left fore. The gelding was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds, before coming under the Starters order and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.

 

At the start, DULARI (Amyn Merchant, dr.4) jumped inwards and made contact with STAR ROMANCE (Mukesh Kumar, dr.3) who had to be steadied.

 

KING KE (Vivek G., dr.8) lost about a length at the start.

 

At the start, HAGIBIS (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.9) jumped inwards and went across KING KE (Vivek G., dr.8) who was marginally slow to begin causing the latter to be steadied.

 

App. Mustakim Alam (HAGIBIS) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2024/25, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

 

RACE NO.9(102) – THE RUSTOMJEE GOLDEN MILLION LEGACY: (ABOUT) 1200 METRES – RUNNERS - 7

 

PRINCE IGOR (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.6) threw its head up at the start and had to be steadied.

 

After the race, NELSON RIVER was trotted and found to be sound.
