RACE DAY REPORTS
RAILS WERE PLACED 4 METRES WIDE AT ITS ORIGINAL POSITION FROM 1800 METRES TO 1400 METRES, 5 METRES WIDE AT 1200 METRES, 6 METRES WIDE AT 1000 METRES, 7 METRES WIDE AT 600 METRES AND THEREAFTER 10 METRES WIDE UPTO THE WINNING POST. RAILS WERE PLACED 7 METRES WIDE IN THE CHUTE.

RACE NO.1(44) – THE POLISHED CHROME PLATE - DIVISION II: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 9
POWERFUL STAR (K. Nazil, dr.9) reared up as the start was effected due to which the gelding lost about 2 lengths at the start.
At the start, KARDASHIAN (App. P. Vinod, dr.5) jumped inwards and made contact with LAMBRETTA (Bhawani Singh, dr.4).
Soon after the start, FLOWER POWER (App. Aniket Karande) shifted in at the same time SHADOWS (App. P. S. Kaviraj) shifted out thereby tightening and inconveniencing LAMBRETTA (Bhawani Singh) and FORTUNE COOKIE (Neeraj Rawal). After questioning all concerned, App. Jockey Aniket Karande has been fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in before the red marker and App. Jockey P. S. Kaviraj has been severely cautioned.
Approaching the 150 metres, FORTUNE COOKIE (Neeraj Rawal) was denied a clear passage and shifted out in the process lost his footings and had to be steadied.
The Stipendiary Stewards will be looking into the running and riding of FORTUNE COOKIE (Neeraj Rawal) and a report will be submitted shortly.
After the race, FORTUNE COOKIE and KARDASHIAN were trotted and found to be sound, LAMBRETTA had a cut injury on right fore fetlock and abrasion on left hind bulb of heel.
RACE NO.2(45) – THE COWAS NAZIR TROPHY - DIVISION II: (About) 1000 Metres – Runners - 9
Soon after the start, SOVEREIGN MASTER (T. S. Jodha) shifted in and made contact with EL CAPITAN (App. P. S. Kaviraj). Jockey T. S. Jodha has been cautioned.
RACE NO.3(46) – THE DR P K SARDESHMUKH MAHARAJ TROPHY: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 6
BRAXTON (T. S. Jodha, dr.1) was slow to begin.
ARBITRAGE (Shahrukh Khan) first time runner was running green and approaching the 700 metres was observed to have lost his footings and had to be steadied.
Passing the 150 metres, DEAR LADY (N. S. Parmar) leaned inwards thereby inconveniencing HAWK OF THE WIND (Yash Narredu) who had to be steadied. After the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar reported that his mount hung-in despite his efforts. Trainer Altamaash A. Ahmed has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
RACE NO.4(47) – THE MOOSA M HOOSEIN TROPHY: (About) 1200 Metres –Runners- 6
Soon after the start, RAMBLER (Yash Narredu) shifted in at the same time WORLD IS ONE (App. P. S. Kaviraj) shifted out thereby inconveniencing ENIGMA (App. Kirtish Bhagat) racing between them.
App. Jockey Kirtish Bhagat (ENIGMA) was observed dropping his hands before the winning post. As such, he has been fined Rs.1,000/-.
RACE NO.5(48) – THE D N ZODGE PLATE: (About) 1800 Metres – Runners - 8
SKY STORM (N. S. Parmar, dr.1) jumped out slowly losing about 3 lengths at the start.
AAH BELLA (A. Sandesh) was observed to have maintained an erratic course in the straight. Jockey A. Sandesh has been cautioned.
After the race, LORD BYRON was trotted and found to be sound.
The Equine Hospital reported that AAH BELLA had both eye injuries.
RACE NO.6(49) – THE COWAS NAZIR TROPHY - DIVISION I: (About) 1000 Metres – Runners - 9
At the start, ENLIGHTENED (App. P. Shinde, dr.2) jumped outwards onto PERIWINKLE (K. Nazil, dr.3) who was marginally slow to begin.
Passing the 800 metres, PERFECT PERFECTO (App. Jockey A. Prakash) leaned inwards due to which ENDEAVOUR (App. Kirtish Bhagat) shied in and brushed the rails.
Approaching the 400 metres, ENDEAVOUR (App. Kirtish Bhagat) shifted out under urgings bumping and forcing SLAM DUNK (H Zeeshan) who in turned shifted onto FUHRER (App. P. S. Kaviraj) causing the latter to check and drop. After questioning all concerned, App. Jockey Kiritish Bhagat has been suspended for one day i.e. on 5th December 2021 (permitted to ride work/mock race).
After the race, FALCONETTE was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
After the race, WILD FIRE was trotted and found to be sound, ENDEAVOUR observed to have lost his right fore shoe.
The Equine Hospital reported that ENDEAVOUR had left eye injury.
RACE NO.7(50) – THE VILLOO C. POONAWALLA MILLION: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 8
EMERALD (App. P. S Kaviraj, dr.5) jumped out slowly losing about 5 lengths at the start. In view of above and a similar behavior of the filly in her last start. Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race.
Approaching the 800 metres MYSTICAL ROSE (Yash Narredu) leaned inwards thereby tightening and inconveniencing KEY TO THE MINT (T. S. Jodha) causing the latter to check and drop back. Jockey Yash Narredu has been cautioned
Passing the 400 metres, PRESIDENTIAL (P. S. Chouhan) shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing KEY TO THE MINT (T. S. Jodha) causing the latter to check and drop back. Jockey P. S. Chouhan has been cautioned.
Approaching the 300 metres, PURE (A. Sandesh) shifted out under pressure and carried MYSTICAL ROSE (Yash Narredu) outwards. Jockey A. Sandesh has been cautioned.
After the race, PRESIDENTIAL was observed to have a gum injury.
RACE NO.8(51) – THE ISMAIL KHAN PLATE: (About) 1400 Metres – Runners - 11--
After the race, FASSBINDER developed symptoms of Distress on Track. The treatment was given to the gelding and was sent to the Equine hospital for further investigation and treatment. As such, the gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
After the race, NORTHERN LIGHTS and HAWK EYE were trotted and found to be sound, VINCENZO was observed to have abrasion on left hock and right fore knee, GUSTY GIRL was observed to have a gum injury
RACE NO.9(52) – THE POLISHED CHROME PLATE - DIVISION I: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 9
ANOINTED (App. P. Shinde, dr.9) jumped and veered out losing considerable grounds at the start. As such, Trainer Nazzak B. Chenoy has been asked to give her charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter in morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
CAMILLE (App. Vishal N. Bunde, dr.1) jumped out slowly losing about 5 lengths at the start. As such, Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter in morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
Soon after the start, LITTLE MORE (Dashrath Singh) was observed to have shifted out on more than one occasion thereby bumping and inconveniencing HELLBENT (N. S. Parmar) and TRINKET (App. P. Vinod). After the race, Jockey Dashath Singh reported that his mount had shied and shifted out and was erratic in the initial stage of the race. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
Soon after the start, WELL SPEAKING (K. Nazil) veered inwards and went across CAMILLE (Vishal N. Bunde) who was slow to begin thereafter WELL SPEAKING collided with the railing dislodging its rider. In view of behavior of the gelding, Trainer Hosidar Daji has been asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, before next accepting to race
ANOINTED (P. Shinde) was observed to have raced on the extreme outside throughout the race. Trainer Nazzak B. Chenoy has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
After the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar (HELLBENT) reported that his mount hung in despite his efforts. Trainer A. M. Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
After the race, HELLBENT was trotted and found to be sound.

The urine samples of the winner of the 5th, 7th & 9th race, viz. ZARAK, PRESIDENTIAL & TRINKET, and the special samples of FORTUNE COOKIE (1st race) & LORD BYRON (5th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
