RACE DAY REPORTS

RAILS WERE PLACED AT ITS ORIGINAL POSITION. RAILS WERE PLACED 5 METRES WIDE IN THE CHUTE.

On a request from Trainer Dallas Todywalla, permission was granted to Trainer Imtiaz A. Sait to saddle his charge BEEMER in the 9^th race, at his own (Trainer Dallas Todywalla’s) risk and responsibility.

RACE NO.1(1) –THE GOODNESS GRACIOUS PLATE - DIVISION II : (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 12

On the arrival at the start MERNEITH (M. Ayyar, dr.7) was examined by the Sr. V.O. who certified her fit to race.

At the start, MERNEITH (M. Ayyar, dr.7) jumped inwards and made contact with REGAL PRINCE (A. S. Peter, dr.6).

Due to a tightly packed field approaching the 800 metres, AME (N. S. Parmar) leaned outwards on to REGAL PRINCE (A. S. Peter) who in turn shifted out onto BAKU (N. Nadeem) thereafter REGAL PRINCE shifted in and made contact with AME.

After the race, MERNEITH was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

The Equine Hospital reported that ON VA DANSER had right eye injury (left eye sore).

RACE NO.2(2) – THE ELOISE PLATE: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 7

At the request of Trainer Nazzak B. Chenoy, COMMANDMENT was examined in the stable area before the race on 17/10/2021 and found to be have injury on the right hock, as such the gelding was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.

NOTHING TO WORRY (Akshay, dr.2) was reluctant to stall and in the process of stalling the gelding dislodged its rider. In view of above it is recommended the gelding be given more gate practice and to be shown to the satisfaction of the starter before next accepting to race.

NOTHING TO WORRY (Akshay, dr.2) jumped outwards at the same time HELA (C. S. Jodha, dr.4) leaned inward thereby tightening MAJORELLA BLUE (A. S. Peter, dr.3) drawn between them.

After the race, Jockey Dashrath Singh (RED MERLOT) reported that his mount leaned inwards throughout the straight despite his efforts. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures

After the race, FORTUNE COOKIE was trotted and found to be sound.

RACE NO.3(3) – THE NAUVKHAL TROPHY - DIVISION II: (About) 1000 Metres – Runners - 14

After being stalled, STAR SINCERITY (App. A. S. Peter, dr.9) was restless and was not allowing its rider to settle and THEA’S PET (App. M. S. Deora, dr.10) was reluctant to stall and thereafter jumped out awkwardly resulting in the mare jumping out slowly losing about 3 lengths at the start. As such Trainers M. Narredu and Narendra Lagad have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race.

Near 600 metres, SADDLE THE WIND collapsed and could not be revived, bleeding from the nostrils and died tentatively due to the cardiac arrest.

The Equine Hospital reported that NORTHERN LIGHTS had left eye injury (sore).

RACE NO.4(4) –THE ALLEY CAT PLATE : (About) 1000 Metres –Runners- 11

At the start, ENDEAVOUR (C. S. Jodha, dr.6) jumped inwards on to BELENUS (A. Sandesh, dr.5).

Passing the 300 metres, Jockey C. S. Jodha (ENDEAVOUR) changed course and went across RED CARNATION (App. Aniket Karande) who had to be checked. After questioning, Jockey C. S. Jodha and not being satisfied with the explanation his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for one race day i.e. on 7^th November 2021.

After the race, JOAQUIN and ENDEAVOUR were trotted and found to be sound.

After the race, WORLD IS ONE was trotted and found to be sound and thereafter the gelding was examined in stable area on 18/10/2021, found to be sound but had cut injury on both fore cannon & swelling at left fore fetlock.

The Equine Hospital reported that ENLIGHTENED and AEGON had right eye injury (sore) and THEODORA had both eyes injury (sore).

RACE NO.5(5) –THE STRATEGIC MOVE PLATE : (About) 1400 Metres – Runners - 14 -

PETRONIA (S. Zervan, dr.2) was slow to begin resulting in losing about 2 lengths at the start

After the race, App. Jockey Kirtish Bhagat (MINX) was severely reprimanded for dropping his hands before the winning post.

After the race, SUPERLEGGERA was trotted and found to be sound. GUSTY GIRL had a gum injury.

The Equine Hospital reported that MINX had right eye injury (sore), TANHAIYAAN, POWER OF THOR and HISTORIC had left eye injury.

RACE NO.6(6) –THE DELHI RACE CLUB TROPHY: (About) 1400 Metres – Runners - 8

At the start, EXCELLENT GOLD (K. Nazil, dr.2) jumped outwards thereby inconveniencing SULTAN SULEIMAN (N. S. Parmar, dr.3) and TRULY EPIC (C. S. Jodha, dr.4). Jockey K Nazil has been cautioned.

Passing the 300 metres, MYSTIC BAY (Yash Narredu) shifted in thereby tightening CAPRISCA (S. Zervan) who had to be steadied. Jockey Yash Narredu has been cautioned.

After the race, GRAND ACCORD had a gum injury.

RACE NO.7(7) THE CLASSIC TALK PLATE: (About) 1400 Metres – Runners - 14

ALPHA GENE (R. Shelar, dr.3) jumped out slowly losing about 2 lengths at the start.

Approaching the 1000 metres RASPUTIN (C. S. Jodha) shifted out on to LETO (S. Zervan) thereby starting a chain reaction due to which ALASTAIR (C. Umesh) and MULTIENCRYPTED (N. S. Parmar) were forced outwards. Jockey C. S. Jodha has been cautioned.

Passing the 800 metres, Jockey Akshay (REDEFINED) shifted out on LETO (S. Zervan) who in turned shifted out on ALAISTAIR (C. Umesh). Jockey Akshay has been cautioned

Jockey Bhawani Singh (REGAL COMMAND) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his first offence during the current Pune Meeting 2021, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.

After the race, MULTIENCRYPTED, REDIFINED and CHERISHED were trotted and found to be sound.

The Equine Hospital reported that REVOLUTION had right eye injury (sore).

RACE NO.8(8) –THE NAUVKHAL TROPHY - DIVISION I: (About) 1000 Metres – Runners - 14

BRAVE EAGLE (App. Kirtish Bhagat, dr.3) jumped out slowly losing about 2 lengths at the start.

At the start, WINDY CITY (M. Ayyar, dr.13) was observed to have brushed the gates and jumped out awkwardly.

Soon after the start, GRAND SINATRA (K. Nazil) shifted in thereby bumping and forcing WINDY CITY (M. Ayyar) inwards onto SMART CHOICE (S. S. Baria). After questioning, Jockey K Nazil and not being satisfied with the explanation his Jockey’s licence has been suspended for one race day i.e. on 7^th November 2021.

Approaching the 700 metres, PEPPOLI (Prashant P. Dhebe) shifted in due to which GRAND ARCHITECT (App. P. Shinde) had to be steadied. Jockey Prashant P. Dhebe has been cautioned

Approaching the 700 metres, GRAND ARCHITECT (App. P. Shinde) was tightened for room and had to be steadied

Approaching the 200 metres, NOBLE KING (App. A. S. Peter) shifted out and went across FLOWER POWER (J. Chinoy) causing the later to check and change course. After questioning, App Jockey A. S. Peter and not being satisfied with his explanation, he has been fined Rs.3000/-

After the race, Trainer Narendra Lagad lodged a complaint that he was not satisfied with the riding of App. Jockey Aniket Karande on his charge LITTLE MORE. The Stipendiary Stewards are looking into it and will submit a report shortly.

After the race, SPECIAL SITUATION was trotted and found to be sound. SPECIAL SITUATION lost right hind shoe, GRAND ARCHITECT had a cut injury at the left hind hock.

The Equine Hospital reported that NOBLE KING had both eyes injury (left eye sore).

RACE NO.9(9) –THE GOODNESS GRACIOUS PLATE - DIVISION I: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 13

SLAM DUNK (Hanumant Singh, dr.7) and MYTHICAL POWER (Raghuveer Singh, dr.11) were reluctant to reach the starting point. Trainers H. J. Antia and Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures.

At the start, NORTHERN SINGER (J. Chinoy, dr.6) jumped inwards thereby bumping and inconveniencing TURMERIC TOWER (App. Aniket Karande, dr.5) at the same time ARC SHINE (App. A. S. Peter, dr.2) shifted out onto BEEMER (Yash Narredu, dr.3) who in turn shifted out thereby bumping and tightening DIVINE GLORY (App. M. S. Deora, dr.4) who had to be checked.

Approaching the 900 metres, NORTHERN SINGER (J. Chinoy) shifted out thereby bumping and forcing LAGERTHA (N. Nadeem) outwards onto MYTHICAL POWER (Raghuveer Singh) who in turn shifted out and carried GOSHAWK (N. S. Parmar) outwards. After questioning all concerned Jockey J. Chinoy has been fined Rs.3,000/-

After the race, Jockey N. Nadeem (LAGERTHA) reported that his mount hung-in in the straight. Trainer Asad Siddiqui has been asked to take remedial measures.

After the race, MYTHICAL POWER was trotted and found to be sound.

The Equine Hospital reported that MYTHICAL POWER had both eyes injury (sore).

The urine samples of the winner of the 2^nd and 9th race, viz. RED MERLOT and CELLINI, were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
