RAILS WERE PLACED AT ITS ORIGINAL POSITION. RAILS WERE PLACED 5 METRES WIDE IN THE CHUTE.
RACE NO.1(113) THE VINAYAK TROPHY: (ABOUT) 2400 METRES RUNNERS - 6

RACE NO.2(114) THE J. M. SHAH & C. M. SHAH GOLD CUP (THE PUNE POLICE COMMISSIONER'S TROPHY - DIVISION II): (ABOUT) 1200 METRES RUNNERS - 9
Soon after the start, FIERY RED (M. S. Deora) was inclined outwards and in the process bumped and forced SOVEREIGN GREY (Akshay Kumar) out on more than one occasion. After the race, Jockey M.S Deora reported that his mount was inclined outwards throughout the race. After the race, the filly was trotted and found to be sound. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
After the race, NEW DIMENSION was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Clubs V.O., before next accepting to race.
After the race, SOVEREIGN GREY, FIERY RED, RISTRETTO & SKY HAWK were trotted and found to be sound. Further, SOVEREIGN GREY was found to have wolf tooth on his left side. As such, Trainer Altaf Hussain has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
RACE NO.3(115) THE PUNE POLICE COMMISSIONER'S TROPHY - DIVISION I: (ABOUT) 1200 METRES RUNNERS - 9
Trainer Bezan Chenoy has been fined Rs.1,000/- for accepting with his charge TREASURE GOLD in this race, whilst the gelding was under Starter's ban. The gelding was struck out at the acceptance stage.
Soon after the start, DREAM SELLER (R. Ajinkya) veered outwards despite the riders efforts thereby carrying BELLAGIO (A. S. Peter) outwards who had to be checked. In view of the same and a similar behavior of the gelding in his last start, Trainer S. K. Sunderji has been asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards, before next accepting to race.
After the race, ATHENIAN was trotted and found to be sound.

Jockey Yash Narredu (ENABLER) was observed to have stood up and raised his hand as a victory sign before passing the winning post. This being his 1st offence during the current Pune Meeting 2023, he has been fined a sum of Rs.5,000/-.
After the race, TRANSCEND was examined by the Clubs Sr. V.O. and was found to be sore by right fore, the filly has to be passed fit by Clubs V.O., before next accepting to race.
After the race, KINGS LOVE was trotted at the stables and found to be sound.
After the race, JAMARI was trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.6(118) THE JIMMY UMRIGAR TROPHY: (ABOUT) 1400 METRES RUNNERS - 11
There was a dual declaration in respect of Jockey T. S. Jodha by Trainer Behram Cama on RICOCHET and UZI. After questioning all concerned, Trainer Behram Cama was permitted to declare Jockey H. Zeeshan on his charge UZI. In this connection, Trainer Behram Cama has been fined Rs.1,000/- for his lapse.
BRAHMOS (Dashrath Singh, dr.10) jumped out awkwardly losing about a length at the start.
After the race, Jockey Neeraj Rawal (DECACORN) reported that his mount was hanging-in in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer M. K. Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
After the race, ZUCCARO was trotted and found to be sound.
RACE NO.7(119) THE F. A. & K. A. IRANI TROPHY: (ABOUT) 1600 METRES RUNNERS - 9
Soon after the start FORTUNATE SON (N. S. Parmar, dr.5) stumbled.
Approaching the 500 metres FLYING SCOTSMAN (Neeraj Rawal) shifted in thereby tightening and inconveniencing WINDERMERE (A. S. Peter) who had to be checked. Jockey Neeraj Rawal has been cautioned.
After the race, WINDERMERE was trotted at the stables and found to be sound.

The urine samples of the winner of the 1st & 6th race, viz. CHAT & KANYA RASHI, and the special samples of SOVEREIGN GREY & NEW DIMENSION (2nd race) and ZUCCARO (6th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
The urine and blood samples of the JOAQUIN (Winner 4th race), AHEAD OF MY TIME (2nd place 4th race), ENABLER (Winner 5th race), JAMARI (2nd place 5th race) & DREAM ALLIANCE (3rd place 5th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
