ADMIRALTY looks a cinch in Percept Million

The Pesi Shroff trained 3yo bay colt Admiralty (Admiralofthefleet - Caprese) who won the 1400m Lt. Col. Govind Singh (VRC) Trophy, his maiden race on 18/1/2015 in splendid style by a widening 7-1/2 lengths in a superb time of 1.23.62 secs, conspicuously showed that he will achieve an encore over a middle-distance trip and mature into a top class Miler who will get longer trips with maturity. Although, Admiralty will be carrying top weight of 56 Kgs, he looks a cinch in the 1600m Percept Million, a Terms race for Indian Horses 3yo only, which will be run here on Sunday, March 1, 2015.
ADMIRALTY is a well-bred colt who splendidly won his maiden race. As the 12-horse field got underway, Admiralty was 9th till the turn and came like a flash of lightning through the shortest way along the rails to go streaking clear by a widening 7-1/2 lengths stopping the clock at a good 1.23.62 seconds, which could have been much faster if he were to have been ridden out in the last 200 meters. Admiralty showed that he is a very classy colt who will win many more races and get longer trips, as he matures.
Pondering over his pedigree, his Sire 'Admiralofthefleet' (Danehill –Rafina) from 11 Starts: had 3wins – 1place with a Career Earnings of - £158,072

His dam 'Caprese' (Burden of Proof- Cape Star) did nothing significant but his grandam 'Cordon Bleu' was the 1988 Indian Derby (Gr.1) winner. Hence, the impeccably bred Admiralty is well-bred to stay.
Admiralty literally has no worthwhile opposition and he looks a cinch in The Percept Million. Apart from his sensational maiden win, he has been blazing the track during workouts and on 22/2/2015 hewent for a 1400 meter workout along with Sheer Class (HR 99) & smoothly clocked 1-32 (-13) 600 in 39 (-6).
