RACE DAY REPORTS
FALSE RAILS WERE PLACED 3.5 METRES WIDE FROM 1600 METRES TO 1000 METRES, AND THEREAFTER, LEADING TO 10 METRES WIDE AT 800 METRES AND CONTINUED UPTO THE WINNING POST. THE STARTING GATES WERE POSITIONED AS MEASURED BY THE RODOMETER.
On a request from Trainer S.S.Attaollahi, permission was granted to Trainer P.Shroff to saddle his charge AGOSTINI in the 7th race, at his (Trainer S.S.Attaolahi’s) risk and responsibility.

RACE NO.1(234) – THE RED MILLS COMMITTED TO INDIAN RACING TROPHY (DIV.I): (About)1000 Metres
– 10 Runners
At the start, WILDERNESS (Malcolm Kharadi) jumped awkwardly and tried to veer outwards, losing ground.
At the start, DIA (N.S.Parmar) jumped awkwardly and then drifted wide out and rejoined the field after travelling some distance.
PRESIDENT (Kavraj Singh) lugged-out while negotiating the bend, and in the early part of the race, carried WILDERNESS (Malcolm Kharadi) outwards. Jockey Kavraj Singh has been reprimanded for improper use of the whip, wherein he has allowed his mount to shift-out under the use of the whip, and also for using his whip once in the forehand position on the shoulder of his mount as the gelding was inclined to lean-out. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Jockey Kishore Kadam (SUNNY SEA) has been fined Rs.1,000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
After the race, PRESIDENT, SUNNY SEA and WILDERNESS were found to be sound.
RACE NO.2(235) – THE DEMOCRATICUS PLATE: (About) 1600 Metres – 10 Runners
Jockey N.S.Parmar (ARUSHA) reported that his mount was slow out of the Gates and could not muster speed in the early part of the race and warmed up late in the race.
After the race, WOVEN DREAMS, RUBENS, LORELEI and ARUSHA (examined on 27/10/2014), were found to be sound.
RACE NO.3(236) – THE K-CLUB VASE (DIV.II): (About) 1400 Metres – 9 Runners
BROWN DYNAMITE (Anil Baandal) stumbled at the start. CARTEL (App.Yash Narredu) lost about 3 lengths at the start.
The Sr.V.O. reported that NAUGHTY FORTY was examined at the stables in the morning on 27/10/2014 and found to be sore by the left fore leg. The gelding has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
The Sr.V.O. reported that LA TRAVIATA and SUNTAN BEAUTY were examined at the stables in the morning on 27/10/2014 and found to be sound.
RACE NO.4(237) – THE RED MILLS COMMITTED TO INDIAN RACING TROPHY (DIV.II): (About)1000 Metres
– 9 Runners
After being stalled, Jockey R.Shelar (SNOW BLAST) informed that one of the iron stirrup had broken. Considering that the field was stalled and excess time would be required to change the gear, the filly was withdrawn from the race before coming under the Starter’s Order.
Soon after the start, FREE SPEECH (S.P.Ranjane, dr.5) leaned-out and went on to SWEET AS HONEY (Dashrath Singh, dr.6), who in turn went on to BEACH GAME (App.Yash Narredu, dr.7).
Passing 800 metres, BEACH GAME (App.Yash Narredu) was tightened and lost position when crowded for room.
BEACH GAME (App.Yash Narredu) ran erratic in the straight.
After the race, RISING WAVE was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
After the race, BEACH GAME and SWEET AS HONEY were found to be sound.
RACE NO.5(238) – THE K-CLUB VASE (DIV.I): (About) 1400 Metres – 10 Runners
MY INSPIRATION (Neeraj Rawal) lost about 2 lengths at the start.
HELPING HAND (C.S.Jodha) did not get a clear run from 300 metres to 100 metres.
After the race, MY INSPIRATION was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
The Sr.V.O. reported that ARMEL was examined at the stables in the morning on 27/10/2014 and found to be sound.
RACE NO.6(239) – THE TRM-GNF MILLION: (About) 1000 Metres – 10 Runners
At the start, AEOLUS MAXIMUS (I.Pasha, dr.7) jumped awkwardly outwards, due to which CAPTAIN COURAGE (P.Trevor, dr.8) shied away, drifted out and continued to lug-out and travelled wide till straightening for home and as the Jockey tried to gain control over his mount, the bit slipped to the right side. Trainer P. Shroff has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt.
App. Bhawani Singh (SHARP) reported the loss of whip near 200 metres.
After the race, CAPTAIN COURAGE was found to be sound, but having wolf tooth on either side. Tr.P.Shroff has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the colt.
SHARP (App.Bhawani Singh) was placed fifth and IRELAND (P.S.Chouhan) was placed sixth by the Judge, in this race.
RACE NO.7(240) – THE IRISH THOROUGHBRED MARKETING & GOFFS R.W.I.T.C. LTD. GOLD CUP (GR.2):
(About) 2000 Metres – 7 Runners
Approaching 400 metres, CLINTON (D.K.Ashish) weakened and at the same time, AGOSTINI (Y.S.Srinath) who was following, was ridden to progress in the race, and in the process, was checked and awkwardly placed close to the heels of CLINTON, clipped and stumbled. Since the incident was accidental, no action has been initiated.
After the race, CLINTON was observed to have an abrasion at the right hind fetlock and TO THE MANOR BORN had a cut injury at the left meta-tarsal.
RACE NO.8(241) – THE COOLMORE MILLION: (About) 1400 Metres – 6 Runners
Near 300 metres, Jockey A.Sandesh (TOP TRAINER) was observed to have pulled up his mount who appeared to be in distress at that stage. After the race, Jockey A. Sandesh reported that his mount lost action and was uncomfortable and therefore, he had to pull-up his mount.
The Club’s V.O. reported that after the race, at the sampling yard, TOP TRAINER was observed to be in distress and necessary treatment was done by the Equine Hospital Veterinarians. Later the urine sample of the gelding was collected after he had recovered and thereafter he was sent to the stables in the Horse Ambulance. The gelding was again examined at the stables in the morning on 27/10/2014 and found to be sound, but having a bruised injury at the right fore coronet.
After the race, REALITY was found to be sound.
TOP TRAINER (A.Sandesh) was placed fifth and REALITY (C.S.Jodha) was placed sixth by the Judge in this race.
RACE NO.9(242) – THE ASSESSED PLATE: (About) 2000 Metres – 13 Runners
JAGER BOMB (D.K.Ashish) was fractious and refused to approach the starting gate, as such, the gelding was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s Order. PUMBA (Amyn Merchant) was restless in the stall and not allowing the rider to settle. Trainers Imtiaz A.Sait and Nina M.Lalvani have been asked to give their respective charge more gate practice and show them to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
PERFECT STRENGTH (C.S.Jodha) was restless in the stall and not allowing the rider to settle. Since the horse had behaved in a similar manner in its previous outing, Trainer Subhag Singh has been asked to take remedial measures and show the horse to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock Race, before next accepting to race.
Jockey S.Mosin (SINDBAAD) reported that his mount lugged-out during the race. Trainer Nirad Karanjawala has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
Near 400 metres, SINDBAAD (S.Mosin) shifted-out due to the bend and went on to SWORD OF HONOUR (Kavraj Singh) who made contact with ELAHEH (Dashrath Singh) on its outside.
Near 100 metres, DANSE DEBONAIRE (Sandeep Jadhav) shifted out on to LEOTHEFIERCEHORSE (App.S.J.Sunil) who was tightened for room due to presence of SINDBAAD (S.Mosin) on its outside.
Jockey Mudassar Nazar (ZAAN) has been fined Rs.1,000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount.
After the race, SWORD OF HONOUR, SINDBAAD, PUMBA, STRIDON, ZAAN and WORD OF HONOUR were found to be sound. SINDBAAD had a gum injury.
RACE NO.10(243) – THE THUNDERING POWER PLATE: (About) 1200 Metres – 14 Runners
ZAAGROS (App.Akshay Gaikwad) was reluctant to be stalled. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to give the filly more gate practice and show her to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
THEORY (Kavraj Singh) lost about 4 lengths at the start. Since the filly had behaved in a similar manner earlier in the season, Trainer Nirad Karanjawala has been asked to take remedial measures and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter in a Mock Race, before next accepting to race.
After the race, TO THE MOON was found to be sore by the left fore leg. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
After the race, SUPER BOLT and ZAAGROS were found to be sound.

The post race urine sample of the winner of 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th & 8th race viz. FRANKANELLA, FEAST OF LOVE, FREE SPEECH, POLISHED CHROME, CIRCLE OF BLISS & POLYDENCES, as also that of GOLDEN BELLE & SPIRITED TOUCH (6th race), AGOSTINI & STARRY EYES (7th race) and SPEED KING & DRAMARAMA (8th race), and the special sample of TOP TRAINER (8th race), were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
