On a request from Trainer Vinay Lagad, permission was granted to Trainer Narendra Lagad to saddle his charge CEASARINA in the 1st race, at his (Trainer Vinay Lagad’s) risk and responsibility.

RACE NO.1(366) – THE GOODBYE PLATE (DIV.I):(About) 1000 Metres – Runners - 11
At the start, VOICE OF FAITH (S.Mosin, dr.7) jumped awkwardly outwards and went on to FAJR (Sandeep Jadhav, dr.8) who went on to PLAN B (Akshay,dr.9).
KATNISS (Nirmal Jodha, dr.10) shifted in before the Red Marker and went across PLAN B (Akshay, dr.9) and then tightened FAJR (Sandeep Jadhav, dr.8). Jockey Nirmal Jodha has been fined Rs.2,000/-.
Jockey Akshay (PLAN B) reported the loss of whip near 150 metres. This being the 4th occasion of Jockey Akshay losing his whip during the current Mumbai Meeting, his Jockey’s License has been suspended w.e.f 24th July 2014 to 25th July 2014 (both days inclusive). (Permitted to ride work/ Mock race).
Trainer Altaf Hussain as also the part-Owner of CUT DIAMOND lodged a verbal complaint against the riding of Jockey S.G.Prasad. An enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of CUT DIAMOND and a report will be submitted later.
CEASARINA (B.Nikhil) lugged-in in the straight. Trainer Vinay Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the mare.
After the race, FAJR, CUT DIAMOND, CEASARINA, KATNISS and RAASTHAN GLORY were found to be sound.
RACE NO.2(367) – THE HYDERABAD RACE CLUB TROPHY:(About) 1400 Metres – Runners - 5
After the race, RIO was found to be sound.
RACE NO.3(368) – THE REMEMBRANCE TROPHY (DIV.II):(About) 1200 Metres – Runners – 9
VICTORIAN was permitted to be withdrawn by the Stewards as the filly was erroneously accepted to race.
ROCKING (Hanumant Singh) was restless in the stall and not allowing the rider to settle. Trainer H.J.Antia has been asked to take remedial measures and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
COME ALIVE (App.D.S.Daman) jumped awkwardly outwards.
WINDS OF CHANGE (C.S.Jodha) hung-out in the straight. Trainer H.J.Antia has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
After the race, SEACAUCUS was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for the stipulated ban period of four weeks. The filly has to be passed fit by the Club’s V.O. before next accepting to race.
After the race, WINDS OFCHANGE, COME ALIVE and SEACAUCUS were found to be sound.
RACE NO.4(369) – THE EUPHEMIA PLATE: (About) 1400 Metres – Runners - 10
At the start, RAPID GIRL (Akshay, dr.8) jumped awkwardly inwards and at the same time, KING GLORIEUX (D.K.Ashish, dr.5) jumped awkwardly outwards, due to which MEGGIDO (Kavraj Singh, dr.6) and KISS THE STAR (R.Shelar, dr.7) were tightened.
Near 1000 metres, SANAM (Neeraj Rawal) shifted out and went on to VALENTINO (J.H.Christopher), who in turn shifted out and went on to ZACHARY (A.Sandesh).
Jockey D.K.Ashish (KING GLORIEUX) has been fined Rs 3,000/- for using the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. Further, he has been fined Rs 2,000/- for improper use of the whip wherein he has used the whip on the shoulder in a forehand position.
RACE NO.5(370) – THE REMEMBRANCE TROPHY (DIV.I): (About) 1200 Metres – Runners - 10
MY FREEDOM (Neeraj Rawal) was slow in the strides, losing about 2 lengths at the start.
Trainer H.J.Antia has been fined Rs.1,000/- for using a snaffle bit instead of Rubber Bit on his charge SPEED BABY.
MUMBAI KING (Deep Shanker) began awkwardly.
Jockey S.G.Prasad (NIRBHAYA, dr.7) has been cautioned for shifting-in after the start.
Passing 1000 metres, DOUBLE DIAMOND (I.Pasha) shifted out and made contact with MUMBAI KING (Deep Shanker).
Passing 1000 metres, REWARDING DESIRE (D.K.Ashish) and DOUBLE DIAMOND (I.Pasha) were involved in a jostle.
BEAU ROYALE (B.Nikhil) lugged-in in the straight. Trainer Narendra Lagad has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
In the final stages of the race, SPEED BABY (Hanumant Singh) was hampered for a run and shifted out as DREAMLAND (App.G.Amit) weakened.
After the race, BEAU ROYALE and DOUBLE DIAMOND were found to be sound.
RACE NO.6(371) – THE JOCKEYS TROPHY (DIV.II): (About) 1200 Metres – Runners – 11 - NO REPORT
RACE NO.7(372) – THE SOLAR KISS PLATE: (About) 1200 Metres – Runners – 9
Trainer Rehanullah Khan has been fined Rs.2,000/- for bringing his charges SAINTS N SINNERS and PEPE SENIOR late into the parade ring. The horses were brought into the parade ring when the other horses had left for the Starting Gate.
REMEMBER ME (J.H.Christopher) lugged-out in the straight due to which near 300 metres, MAUNA KEA (A.Sandesh) was forced to shift out, and in the process, made contact with WILD WAVES (Sandeep Jadhav). Trainer Imtiaz A.Sait has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
CELSIUS (C.S.Jodha) and BRINDABAN (P.Trevor) lugged-out in the straight. Trainers Faisal A.Abbas and Dallas Todywalla have been asked to take remedial measures with their respective charge before next accepting to race.
RACE NO.8(373) – THE JOCKEYS TROPHY (DIV.I): (About) 1200 Metres – Runners – 12
HIS HIGHNESS (D.K.Ashish) ran erratically in the straight.
After the race, HIS HIGHNESS, ELAHEH and FAST LADY were found to be sound.
RACE NO.9(374) – THE GOODBYE PLATE (DIV.II): (About) 1000 Metres – Runners – 11
Soon after the start, RISING ANGEL (App.S.Joseph) was tightened due to a tightly packed field.
Approaching 800 metres, WALKING TALL (Akshay) shifted in and carried ZARAR (S.G.Prasad) inwards, who in turn carried RISING ANGEL (App.S.Joseph) inward, who was tightened and lost position. Shortly afterwards, WALKING TALL shifted in further and took the running of ZARAR who clipped the heels of the former and stumbled. Jockey Akshay has been Rs.3,000/-.
ZARAR (SG Prasad) hung out in the straight and near 300 metres carried ANNABETH (App.S.J.Sunil) outward, who in turn carried STORM LIGHTNING (Sandeep Jadhav) outward. Trainer Sangramsinh N.Joshi has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race the gelding.
After the race, STORM LIGHTNING was found to be sore by the right fore leg. The mare has to be passed fit by the Club’s VO before next accepting to race.
After the race, MOUNTAIN TREASURE, RISING ANGEL and ZARAR were found to be sound.

The post race urine sample of the winner of 2nd, 4th, 8th and 9th race, viz. MYLA ROSE, GODSPEED, AN JOLIE and DIAMONDZIP, and the special sample of CUT DIAMOND (1st race), SEACAUCUS (3rd race) and ADMISSION (6th race) were collected for detection of prohibited substance.
